Jewelry store owner stops attempted robbery | USA TODAY

An intruder smashed a jewelry store counter in an attempted robbery, but the owner stopped it before the robber could grab anything.

Lieutenant Gene Wong of the San Bruno Police Department wrote in his report that there were no injuries and that both weapons were never fired. The five men were wearing hoods but were captured on the video camera footage. Wong said the investigation is open and they police were still looking for the group.

  1. it seems the news outlets missed scumbag #2 approaching the store and pulling a weapon from his waistband before running off also. what gets me is there has to be a slew of cameras all over the mall. no way they should have been able to get away. of course, being CA, they would have maybe gotten a ticket.

  2. This is why we have the 2nd amendment, and for the people to protect itself from tyrannical governments.

  3. Finally! He should have backed into his store and stayed there. He would have a good view of the store opening and not risk getting smacked by one of these criminals.
