President Biden introduced new rules targeting ghost guns ahead of a request to Congress to ban the weapons outright.

Calling them "basic common sense," President Joe Biden took steps Monday to rein in the use of untraceable firearms known as ghost guns that law enforcement officers said turn up frequently at crime scenes.

Biden announced federal regulations that will target privately made firearms that can be assembled from do-it-yourself kits purchased online or in a store. The weapons lack serial numbers, which makes it difficult to trace the owner.

  3. Yes please…you and your Democratic DA buddies….PLEASE put criminals away for committing crimes…with any weapon regardless! Perhaps that will fix the issue!!!!!!

  4. Important caveat is most of these guns are built by hobbiests who simply enjoy crafting things. It takes over grand worth of equipment, technical knowhow, and hours of work to get a ghost gun that works more than half the time.

  5. Frankly, these guys will simply publish shopping lists of parts rather than sell kits with that much red tape.
