Herdman’s pre-match call to ‘F Croatia’ was embarrassing but not as embarrassing as the OTT claims on TSN that we have made ourselves a team to be reckoned with in future WCs. We are bottom of our pool, having qualified from a weak ‘conference/area and we will be coming home next week having scored a goal – Whoop de do.
Lost all my sympathy for them after hearing that post match interview. Never heard a coach in Europe say something like that. They got humbled today.
