Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's legal battle continues as the divorced movie stars face off in a $50 million (or more) libel trial.

The trial began April 11 in Fairfax County, Virginia, outside Washington, D.C., with a panel of 11 – seven jurors and four alternates – picked, according to Court TV, which is broadcasting the trial.
Depp, 58, is suing Heard, 35, for $50 million, alleging she defamed him in an opinion column she published in The Washington Post (which is printed in Fairfax County) in December 2018. In the column, she claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse, a claim she first raised during their corrosive divorce proceeding in 2016 in Los Angeles.
On Tuesday, Depp is expected to take the stand in the tense trial.

No one wants to see him struggle with addiction, or be lied on, or see him get defamed, or see him abused. I hope Johnny Depp recovers from any and all addiction, I hope he lives happily ever after, I hope he’s happy, healthy, and safe. I truly hope he’s always employed, and enjoys his vacations and holidays and retirement. I hope he’ll always stay loving and celebrating his beautiful life. We’re all routing for you and supporting you Johnny Depp. Always seek help and treatment if you need it, but also continue to be the amazing and already capable person you already are.
None of this defines you… It’s something big that went on in your life and comes up occasionally. With the right professionals, you always stay ahead and on top of it, and beat it for what it is altogether. It doesn’t hold you back unless you let it.
You never deserve to be abused or lied on. A wife should love you, and you should love your wife. If there’s something abusive going on, or sick lies, it needs to stop immediately.
I hope you two can get through this if you can, but if not, you deserve to be not abused obviously, and safe and loved in your own marriage.
Abuse cycles are created from enabling if not cycled from parents who were abusive to their children. He has endured quite enough. She seems to have also. I hope they both get restraining orders from one another and let it all go after the judge makes whatever decision they will. Enough is enough. He’s not evil but I believe she tried to control the narrative of their obvious abusive on both sides relationship. I feel so bad we are seeing such a private thing in someone’s life. At the same time, what a great example of what type of relationship this really is and honestly, this is far too common with many other people. Most people just aren’t johnny Depp. I hope this court case opens many peoples eyes who need to get out of the types of relationships they have if they do- similar in the manipulation tactical ways at least. I wish them healing and everyone else involved or going through this.

That man has recorded evidence of her admitting to hitting on him then she basically tells him not to be soft about it. That proof alone should be enough. The fact that he was instantly punished and she has no consequences is baffling.
