The way to deal with this is through meaningful resolution. This requires leadership, not finger-pointing, gaslighting, rhetoric and empty words. If the Prime Minister, Mayor of Ottawa, Premier of Ontario, and anyone else who has some accountability regarding this, think that speaking in front of a camera and ordering protestors to “simply stop, pack up and go home” is the way to resolve this, they’re delirious. If you change nothing, nothing will change. This will continue, which, I think is what Trudeau really wants so he can continue the path he’s currently on of finger-pointing, gaslighting and rhetoric. Unfortunately, we have a PM who is not a real leader, which, in itself, is a problem.
I think it’s about time we start calling the government what they are, a regime.
