Kurdish forces intend to keep Iraq land, says national security chief

The Kurdish Regional Government's National Security chief, Masrour Barzani, tells Sky News' Sam Kiley that Iraq's Kurds intend to keep the land they have captured in the fight against Islamic State. Read more:

  1. He’s right to take whatever they can and build a buffer zone. The poor
    kurds have been screwed by everybody. I hope they find some peace,
    prosperity and normality.

  2. The enemy of your enemy is not always your friend. Still a fundamental cult
    of death problem no matter which authoritarian group takes over. The US
    won’t spread democracy. They haven’t once. Close with the Philippines but
    now they install a criminal murderer. To rev up their fake drug war. The
    criminals are running the western countries controlling dictator states.
    They kill democratic countries and support dictator states. The only
    dictator states the US doesn’t like are the ones they didn’t create or tear
    down.
