“Sounder” was a very intense, masterfully crafted movie and story and much credit to her for filling out the role to touch our hearts.
Awww my beloved what a gorgeous classy rare human being Cicely Tyson was she imbodies patience, perseverance and humility.

Cicely made being Black, Beautiful for all of us Black women; in all of her films! She could make you feel strength, smile, cheer, cry and laugh in all of her movies! She was a huge presence in a small package!
She was gorgeous, and such a beautiful inner soul. Loss of a national treasure.
