Chris Matthews had one of his most cringeworthy moments when he confused this candidate with Tim Scott. Note Tim scott was standing next to Lindsey Graham at a MAGA rally when he had this gaffe. Sad!
I’m upset that they didn’t upload that part of the conversation but I also understand why they wouldn’t want to.
Just goes to show how out of touch they are though with a title like, “The African American Vote Is Not A Monolith” while their own interviewer has a problem with differentiating black people. Chris Matthews didn’t just confuse him, he continued to be confused after the people in the news room were yelling at him the guys correct name and he still didn’t get it for a full 30 seconds.
