    1. @Joey BoX0RoX Well considering it was called the Nazi SOCIALIST Party and Democrats, Liberals, and Leftists are SOCIALISTS. And the Nazis took away guns, freedom of speech, manipulated the press and news, took away history and religions and you guys have been trying to do the same thing I am pretty sure it is you Demoncrats that we need to worry about.

    2. @Joey BoXRoX If you new anything about guns, you would know that at close range like this, the shotgun wad(grouping of pellets) are super tight and therefore it is as easy to hit someone at that range with a shotgun as it is with a pistol. You get real.

    1. @Liberal Saiyan Universal checks will do nothing, there are hundreds of millions of guns in circulation across the USA. I agree with the training though, it’s super important that people don’t panic and start shooting causing more chaos and harm in these situations.

    2. @WhyU SoJelly And mass shootings make up a tiny proportion of gun homicides in the country, but are heavily publicized by the media making them seem like they’re more common than regular gun crime. The vast majority are committed with stolen, old, or “unregistered” firearms that have passed hands many times, not guns “legally” bought at an FFL under their name. Pistols are also the most commonly used firearm in crime such as the Sigma/SVD9, Hipoint 9mm, and cheap foreign 380’s not shotguns or semi-auto rifles.

    3. @WhyU SoJelly Right someone called you a bad name online, that means they’re gonna shoot the next guy that punches them in the face. Right.

  1. My dad is the deacon in charge of security at his church. He had to become licensed to carry and buy a gun just for church. It’s scary, and I hope he is never in the same position this man was put in.

    1. @ฤeath Vader 96 percent of the world practice a religion. So if we just listened to you everything would be hunky dory aye?๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

    1. If you ban guns? That will not get rid of guns!! There is big money in trafficking guns, and drugs across the border….the bad guys will always have guns..

  2. That’s why I am proud to be a Texan…you can’t stop someone from opening fire but you can limit his time to continue…

    1. @You & A.I. actually you cant… do you honestly think the government can get rid of 423,000,000 guns, of which at least 20m+ are already on the black market.
stop living in fantasy land. a determined criminal will always be able to get a gun.
nationwide gun confiscation would also almost certainly cause a civil war.
it amazes me the comments people make without even thinking through the ramifications.
criminals wont be turning in their guns lol…

    2. UK violent crime rate is 2x higher than USA’s rate if they canโ€™t do that…then you have bigger problems! Your name says it all though. Perhaps google stats on other countries?

    1. Hey Max! Just wanted to point out that your first word should be “If”. Have a nice day!

    2. @Roman yeah how do u choose which part of the name is used. U used mat but his entire username is longer.

    1. @Bill Fuentes so you found my utube account. Big deal. A 12 year old can do that. I don’t discuss bibicial stuff with none believers who have the purpose of attacking the faith. I’m not getting nothing for it. I wouldn’t waste my breath. If a person really wants God and might get saved I would be honored to help. It’s easy to tell who wants help and who wants to mock God.

    2. It’s funny how much time liberals spend trying to argue there is no God and attacking the things of god. Then they say Trump is the evil one. I’m independent and don’t support either political party but talk about calling the kettle black. Trump is evil but what are you. You attack God to prove he doesn’t exist. I knew there was a reason I’m independent.

    3. @Lyn W yeah you’re obviously a troll… a sick one at that.
you’re literally trying to encourage people to be unarmed and defenseless. SHAME ON YOU

  3. Well done by that congregation, those who were trained & proficient saved many more lives than that gunman took.

  4. I conceal carry when I go to church just in case something just like this would happen, don’t want to be a sitting duck for me or my wife.

    1. You poor Americans, I’m so glad we have none of these problems in Australia. Having to take a gun to church, absolute insanity.

    2. @dude20295 enjoy being fined for not wearing a helmet while riding a bike, you emasculated, declawed, losers.

    3. @dude20295
No one should fear for their safety, in a place of worship.
Just think of the Christian in the Middle East.
Pray for them as well, and thank you.

    1. @cj p Every reputable range has classes that do not require ownership. Rental fees usually apply. Likewise, you can rent and practice on your own.

    2. MAI TQ – I’m a pretty good shot myself but I don’t think I could have done that. Moving target head shot under fire? And he had the presence of mind to only squeeze off one round? No way. I would have unloaded on him and missed 25% of em. Possibly even hit an innocent person. This guy should never have to buy another drink in his life.

    1. What’s your point?
Would an untrained citizen shoot one shot and end that active shooters life?
      I don’t think so.

    1. @Jake independent voting shepherd And yet it’s here. Your boys at Faux just don’t cover things they don’t agree with. This story being here proves you gun nutters wrong on your conspiracy theories.

    2. @Mister Hat AKA you’re too stupid so you how people Russians and say your argument isn’t worthy of me debating you.
Liberals like yourself are the product of safe space colleges who never texted you you have been surrounded in a liberal Echo chamber so any other opinion deeply triggers you. Welcome to the Real World snowflake not everyone agrees with you or your leftist ideals.

    3. @Mister Hat reading must not be a good subject for you. My name even says independent. Yes it is possible to be independent and not agree with the left. Your cult teaches you anybody who doesnt agree with you is a Trump supporter.

    1. lionitist name another country that has shootings like this. There was not one in other developed countries that a person walks in a church and shoots people during prayer

    2. They were on the security team for the church like its a third world country. Gun control advocates aren’t going after pistols or security guards.

    3. Strange how this church who had security with guns…ended up attracting a crazy person with a gun…all the non gun having churches don’t seem to have this problem. Weird. It’s like the bad guys with guns know they can go anywhere with guns and get killed vs arrested. Like they don’t want to do it themselves because of some weird church thing anyways. They know what they are doing, and they want more people to get shot. Congrats, you are helping these shooters win by arming more people

    4. @Michael De Santa only australia, but that was done by a right wing extremist, which unsurprisingly enough, all acts of terrorism with deaths here in america last year were also done by right wing gun nuts.

  5. Having a gun and having the experience with a gun like this man has is not the same. If you buy a gun, train regularly.

    1. I couldn’t agree with you more I’ve been in the military my entire adult life over 14 years we regulate train with law enforcement and even civilians the main thing I tell people in my classes is if you don’t adequately know how to operate the weapon platform in front of you it might as well just be a paperweight. I am a huge supporter of concealed carry but I just don’t want a bunch of idiots shooting every time a car backfires I want guys who are trained to rationally calmly and efficiently deal with the threat Just as this man did.

    2. i agree, but way too many people are using the “they were highly trained security” argument, implying you must be highly trained to successfully use a gun for self defense and thats simply not true.
obviously i wish everyone was highly trained, but there are plenty of people that own guns and go to the gun range maybe 1 time every few years, and they have been able to successfully shoot attackers.
