  1. I don’t get why guards fall in love with prisoners?? It never ends very well..SMH

    1. I once had to spend a week in county after going to court for a traffic offense, emptying my pockets, and an empty baggie fell out of the gas money a friend’s girlfriend gave me to top off her tank. The night guard was an absolute babe, on 1 to 10 she was a 12. I get it.

    2. Maybe she reformed him, and in return maybe, just maybe, he was the only one who has ever been able to make her climax. I hope it’s love.

    3. @T Stevens Had a friend years ago who was an attorney. She fell for her ‘clients’ often. Eventually married an inmate. I asked her the same question. Her reply was “for obvious reasons”.

    4. You can’t argue with female ‘logic.’ It’s all about the feelings and butterflies in stomach

  2. I wonder was it worth it? To lose everything for an Inmate? She makes it hard for female officers.

  3. Since this happened in Alabama. You can’t blame liberal left wing policies for this egregious act.

    1. @JR Porter give me a break dude. If this happened in a blue state. This comment section would be full of people blaming liberal policies for this egregious violation of prison protocols. So what’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

    2. @Keith Gupton Law enforcement is not political. This is an employee issue. Partisan comment only make some feel righteous, maybe you for example.

    3. @S Moore I live in NYC. If someone spits on the sidewalk. Conservative pundits and politicians are quick to blame liberal policies for that. In case you haven’t noticed. The blame game is now America’s favorite past time not baseball.

  4. The sherriff’s department is JUST AS BAD AS THE GUARD. Their entire department is inept and foolish.

    1. All sheriff’s departments are a little fishy because the sheriff is an elected official and they get a lot of leeway in how they choose to run their personal little fiefdom of law and authority. You sometimes get gunslinger types, but mostly just your typical hard right law and order types.

But in Alabama. That’s a whole different universe. In Alabama the sheriff is personally bonded as jail or and is this given the prison food budget personally to spend anyway he wishes. It doesn’t go into the sheriff’s department budget unless he wants it to. In some counties in Alabama they (legally) pay the mortgages on lake or beach homes, or buy new cars for themselves and family.

  5. As a retired CO….I have seen this happen way too often. Given her time in service, this seems on the surface amazing. We used to call them “Players”. Retired….fishy unless she was trying to safeguard her pension. Women want Attention and well….men want Freedom and this will not last long; I just hope others do not get harmed by the lax protocol. Coerced by him…You think!?

    1. @Soulife 🥳❤️😂☕️ nobody knows the truth? he could of had a weapon but it could happen 😂☕️

    2. @Jay R. I would not disagree but in today’s society…equal opportunity and if not….lawsuits galore.

  6. I’m sure their is a reasonable excuse for this such as he made passionate love to her and she became confused and did a stupid thing.

  7. Im actually just as shocked that with all the kind of obvious red flags raised that none of the other officers decided to at least notify somebody or double check or something. Of course it sounds like she was high ranking or had seniority or something so Im sure she probably timed all this when rookies who maybe didnt know any better or were too scared to speak up were on shift at various points. Id do an audit of the whole jails staff if I were the sheriff if an officer whos blatantly violating protocol was able to just walk an inmate out the door without a fuss.

    1. @wpeale71341 I agree!!! So, what happened in California? Unfortunately, I am on the east coast.

    2. Stupid thing to do. They’ll never be able to get away. Even if the manage it for a couple of days, is it worth it?

    3. She had fake court papers sayin she had to take him to fake court n then it showed there was nvr any court papers

  8. Sounds like the cops are doing everything they can make sure that gaurd has “an out” once the prisoner is caught. She’s going to lie and say she was forced. Clearly she’s an accomplice

  9. My question is – who was monitoring the security cameras when the escape happened? It would be difficult not to spot 2 people when there should be 3!

    1. Vicki White said she was taking Casey White for a mental health evaluation when she checked him out of jail. She said she planned to drop the inmate off at the courthouse and get medical care because she wasn’t feeling well. Authorities found out later that no such evaluation or court hearing was scheduled for Casey White on Friday. Sheriff Singleton said that Vicki White never made it to the place where she was to get medical attention. Friday afternoon, concerned officers at the jail tried to reach Vicki White, but her phone went straight to voice mail.

    2. She was essentially the boss over the majority of the people working that day plus they trusted her judgment. That’s how she pulled this off. IMO That department needs to trained that no one not even the higher ups are allowed to break protocols for any reason whatsoever.

    3. @Messrs Anderson & Co. The officer who monitors the cameras was only recently transfered to this prison, his last job was monitoring Jeffrey Epsteins cell security camera.

What could possibly go wrong ?

    4. Don’t officer’s have to sign out prisoners? If so, there was a 2 person policy. Who let her out of the building alone?

  10. Why would you throw your career and life away for a p.o.s. killer you almost have to feel bad for her ignorance

    1. I find it hard to believe that after 17 years with an unblemished record she suddenly just fell for the con and lies of a felony murderer and gave up her job , home , family , friends and life to live a life on the run looking over her shoulder for the rest of her life .

    2. @shari they may have been seeing one another on a sexual level and she fell in love and he painted her a picture of a white picket fence

    3. Happens more often than you’d think. I’ve known a few CO”s thru the years and you would be surprised how inmates ” work” on the CO’s mentally and find their weaknesses and exploit those weaknesses. Prisoners have 24/7 to figure things out. And most of them are pretty good at that game.

  11. Once he is free and in the wind he will eliminate any excess baggage that may get him caught.

    1. @John Haney And that’s why you treat everyone living off grid as a escaped murderer.

    2. @Bean Season I would have to see her after a couple of days of not shaving before I could decide her chances

    1. I pray they found love, eloped, she reformed him, and he is the only man that has ever made her climax.
      Love over hate, that’s WWJD!

    2. Please, magic daddy in the sky, solve our earthly problems. With your magic and that.

  12. She will plead that she was “abducted” by the villain. The loophole was created for them to slip through.
Call her husband for interrogation . She must be having matrimonial issues that made her vulnerable

    1. Don’t make excuses for her. That ” villian” was behind bars and she helped him escape. She is as dangerous as he is.

  13. It’s astounding to me that they would consider that the woman officer was coerced or threatened. Boy I tell ya… 🙄WW get all the grace.

    1. Hey now don’t always blame the Whites… I mean in this case their last name was White 🤣

  14. She’s in danger whether she’s helping him or not. If she is his hostage obvious. If she helped him and thinks they are going to live happily ever after, once he believes he is truly free he might not be needing her anymore…

  15. This story is so much. I live in Florence AL and we’ve been dealing with this fear for several days! My brother in law works with Vicky and was good friends with her, he never saw this coming or ever thought she would do something like this. We don’t know all the details yet, so I just hope when we find her that we find out it isn’t how it appears at this point. I hope for her friends and family (and for the Florence PD/Alabama law enforcement) that she isn’t involved, but it definitely isn’t looking that way as of now. 😔

    1. Wow. I sincerely hope she isn’t involved, and that she’s safe and healthy. 🫶🏻

    2. They are saying she’s all but wanted now herself. Things must have come up showing she was in on it and not just over come by him.
