    1. For much of Aus population, social distancing isn’t really a challenge – meeting people and getting supplies can be though.

  1. “This is a red vs blue state thing”. Well, this could end with there only really being one color on the map.

    1. This Buffoon is doing a great job of dividing the American people. Soon Republicans will be killing Democrats and anyone else that do not agree with Trump. Hitler revisited.

    2. @Brad Tays Nope. Most welfare states are red. They take more out of the federal pot then they put in. We will cut funding and they will starve.

  2. The USA is not through the first wave yet and Trump wants to make himself look good and get reelected so he doesn’t end up in handcuffs.
    Sure makes sense to me.

    1. @catsandrubber yes exactly because they are Democrat ran, 30% of deaths in new York and new jersey, that ruins your argument, low IQ

    2. @Pierre Delecto you’re gambling your life away. and the lack of sense is astounding. People like you don’t have the patience to wait for a vaccine and act like you’re going to die any min and have only a few weeks left to enjoy life. Wow. ps: 15% of people are like you.

  3. “The reason they call it the American Dream is because you have to be asleep to believe it.”

    1. Cameron Renwick : Wherever you are, it sounds like Very Heaven, compared to the dis-United states

    2. @Ash Roskell Thank you, not heaven, nowhere is perfect, but at least most of the people are kind and peaceful. I wish you well Ash Roskell

    3. @Woody Hi Woody. I’m from the UK but working in Thailand now teaching English. The government isn’t good and there’s a lot of corruption. But the normal people are shy, kind and peaceful.

    1. Richard Thomas – I’m a business owner and I’d never do that. Employees have to wear one but we’re not going to turn away business. Most customers wear one anyway.

    2. My freedom versus yours is life in civilized society. Not wearing a mask in public is like saying you have the right to be naked in public, to fart in your boss’s office, to poo in a store, to smoke a stinking cigar in a restaurant … A business has the right to ask you not to be face naked in the store…

    3. That seems to be resulting in the employee being shot and killed at a Family Dollar in Michigan. That would be the same place where the republicans showed up at the Capital and at the governors home with their guns to “protest” the shut down.

    4. @Bovine One might get more customers – if you encouraged mask wearing. I’d shop there then. It shows you care.

    1. @Bud Fudlacker that’s what I thought you were going to say, go to the beach and sip on some Clorox colada and see you on November 3, stable genius.😉

    1. Beatrice TDS hurts get help! Out of 137 million people you would not believe how many die without the coronavirus! But you only care because you blame Trump!

    1. M L, If you care more about your TDS than the number is a LOT higher tuberculosis still kills over a million people a year, but that would be harder to blame on Trump so I am sure you do not care!

  4. Melbourne ,Australia has just under six million people. We have 18 deaths and five in an ICU.

    1. Rosslyn, China is not happy with Australia, you should shut up, if the USA stops backing you then you will be China in 5 minutes!

    2. Sitting far away at the edge of the world and bragging about low number of cases…during normal times Australia already has very strick immigration policy, it doesn’t matter if one comes with a visa stamp from the Australian Embassy, you still risk getting thrown out at the Australian airport if the officers there don’t like you… The US was hit hard because most people in the world visit the US specially from Europe from where most of the the infection came into the US…

    3. @Bud Fudlacker, it’s because of America that China’s not happy with Australia. Trump threw the PM under the bus by getting the clueless fool to do his dirty work for him. The end result? Increased barley and beef sales for the US, less for Australia. It doesn’t pay to be friendly to the Trump administration.

  5. Data: The number of cases in the US keep going up.
t’rump supporters: Whatever, we’ll be fine.
    Coronavirus: No you won’t.
    t’rump supporters: Who said that?!?

  6. Skipping stages in the road to reopen safely is just like ending an antibiotic cure prematurely. A certain way to cause more death and help create an even more virulent and drug-resistant virus.

  7. grew up w drive in theaters. movies are your best entertainment value. “lets all go to the lobby, and get our selves a treat!”

  8. About the Drive-in, bring your kids in pajamas and bring pillows. I have fond memories of going with my family in the 1970s.

  9. Well let nature take its course in these Red states. When you challenge Mother Nature ,Mother always has the upper hand.
