  1. I remember exactly what I was doing when this happened. Who can ever forget? Bless those Americans and those who lost their lives and continue to lose their lives today.

    1. @J Trump absolutely deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for his work toward UNITY and PEACE! He united the USA with Coronavirus, and now 200,000 Americans rest in peace.

    2. @J you’re a joke. America continues to sell weapons to the same people that took down a cpl of buildings. Your potus has let over 193,000 die because of your own stupidity. You reap what you sow.

    3. @j k Who created nukes and who sold them to places like China? Dems.. Try again!

Calling someone stupid due to your own inability to look away from MSDNC is simply sad. You have a mind and you are free to use it.

  2. I remember when I use to drive on the BQE Expressway I would always admire the World Trade. After they were torn down and the cloud of smoke had disappeared, it hit me like a ton of bricks not seeing them there anymore. May God bless America always. Vote for Joe Biden, lets keep America united. We are the United States ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ of Americaโค๏ธ

    1. Aunt Barbara had to walkr15 miles to get home; Uncle Charles watched people jump while at an office building a couple of blocks from ground zero and went home to Bergen County via the Verrazano Bridge; my co-teacher’s brother and husband got stuck in the tubes and were turned away from going into the towers. Students with parents in the building were in my classroom, in a new building w/o TV so we got 15 minute bulletins from Uncle Charles. So many unbelievably horrific memories. We need to think about what connects us and not what divides us. USUSUSUSUSUSUSUS

    2. @Amanda Reiche Trump would be the one to talk to about that. He is trying to Destroy the “United States” Vote Biden

  3. As an Army SFC, this was a painful day in our history. The American sperit truly could be seen. America let’s show that sprite again and vote trump out so this never happens again. God bless those who lost their lives that day, God bless America. Airborne is spoken here.

    1. Thank you, for your service and your brother’s and sister’s in service. This can never happen again. WE THE PEOPLE WILL TAKE OUR HOUSE BACK, and Proudly Potect Our Fellow Citizens, and Our Democracy!

    2. Thank you for your service, yet I suffered greatly so many would not go to Iraq as a protester. Seems I was right a total eorthless war.

  4. Hard to believe how many people have died this year due to this pandemic. Much like with the fallen from 9/11…we must never forget them. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

    1. @Matt Thompson Sure. TRUMP TWEET?? Before you make a statement like that know what you are talking about. Your president is a liar and a TRAITOR. Dems are more American then the Republicans right now. No respect for our Military, Constitution or our Country

    1. So many hero’s that day but those men with Tod where the ultimate personification of true hero’s looking death in the face. May they always be remembered in our prayers God bless

  5. God Bless Them ALL that Died That Day…. And Bless All The People Wearing Mask….. Forgot What our So Called President SAY

    1. The whole world was stunned with the horror. So many people of different nationalities in the towers that day connected people across the globe.

    2. @madd monk More stepping on graves and disrespect for the dead heroes of this nation; FYE on any who exhibit that behavior.

  6. I wonder if America will read the names of the over 200,000 Americans who were killed from COVID-19 because the Trump downplayed this pandemic?

    1. @Randy Couch Too many of the police are thugs as we have seen on our screens for the last three months. 93% of the protests were completely nonviolent. Of the other 7%, there were only a small number of bad actors, many of whom were white supremacists blending into the protest and setting fires or throwing objects at law enforcement in hopes of starting a race war.

  7. I remember watching telly tubby with my daughter in South Africa when the program was stopped and CNN came on saying America under attack the first aircraft had just crashed into the first tower.

    1. I know right I havenโ€™t been to New York in 20 years I was last in New York 8 months prior to 9/11 I want to visit the memorial and pay my respects just tragic and RIP to everyone who died

  8. The man who lied about helping during 9/11 and only called TV stations to falsely state he now has the tallest building in New York, who is an American traitor should be banned from all 9/11 memorials.

    1. He even claimed he went down there and “helped”. Noone pushed him on this, “How did you help?”

He claims the media is unfair to him, i declare: the media MADE trump, they were way too easy on him, always, humored him, and now the media MUST destroy trump, for the good of humanity.
Every day is a Sept. 11th with Trump.
      ๐Ÿ˜”

    2. Don’t forget the swamp whisperer said he saw thousands of Muslims dancing in the streets of NY that day… ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ˜ท๐Ÿ™

    3. @Dawn Kuzio You’re partially right Laura Walker never lies about Trump. Your conman, liar in chief is full of lies and crap. He is responsible for death of 190,000 US lives and counting. You should be ashame for supporting a liar, conman, thief, and murderer.

  9. Another President that failed to do something about a threat to the American People. George W Bush was warned and warned about the coming threat and ignored it! He then used it as an excuse to invade a country that has NOTHING to do with the event. Then years later the Republicans fail to help the men and women they rightly called heroes when those heroes are sick and dying. Dying from the very act that made them heroes! Now they support a criminal and traitor! What is wrong with the American people that keep supporting these vile people?

    1. Alternate reality. You must not have been there. Twisted history. How easy it is to judge that he didn’t take it seriously. Do you remember the many attacks on the world trade center that caused little damage? What was he going to do? If he wasn’t sure where it was coming from BEFORE the attack, to the point he invaded a country that cheered as our soldiers arrived, and they themselves tore down the statue to their ruthless Dictator. Wasted trip?
It took us a long time to figure out who pulled the trigger. Easy to judge when hindsight is 2020 and the only stories you know are about Bush’s failures because he didn’t have the luxury of that hindsight at the time.
He was a million times better than the president we now have. He united us. Dividing us for power wasn’t even in his makeup. It’s a hard job. Easy to say he didn’t act sooner. Has he killed Osama, I’m sure you’d be one of the first saying how rotten he was for killing a foreign man who we couldn’t prove was going to do anything to us.

    2. @J and don’t forget who pays the home if the terrorists home NOW with big bucks…… He also saw thousands of Muslims dancing in the streets of NY.๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ˜ท

    3. @jlo wrong they where Isrealis and they did 911 along with bush administration facts, motive and coverups prove it soundly. But then why care?

  10. Please remember that during today’s remembrance, the U.S. is currently supplying arms to Saudi Arabia (where most of the 15 of the 19 terrorists came from) to wage war on the country of Yemen, equivalent to a 9/11 on a daily basis. Until a few years ago, republicans including Mitch McConnell, have fought against authorizing financial and medical assistance to 9/11 responders but had no problem in passing a $2,300,000,000,000 trillion dollar tax cut to corporations in 2017.

    1. *WE WILL REMEMBER COME THIS NOVEMBER!!!* ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ—ฝ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒŠ

    2. โ€‹@long99brit Do you have any thoughts on the post to which you responded whith that cowards simple stupid name?

    1. He also:

      1. Claimed that he helped at ground zero. He hadn’t.

      2. Claimed $150,000 from funds that were designated for small businesses that were harmed by the attacks.

      3. Claimed that he heard Muslims rejoicing in New Jersey when the Twin Towers fell. He lied.

  11. Thank you for the integrity of this reporting, Joe. MIka and Willie too. “The extraordinary American Spirit.” Joe Scarborough We are all in this together.

    1. Trump was down there right afterwards with his construction crews pulling people out of the rubble. Ever read anything or are you just braindead?

    2. @unpaid troll- No, he wasn’t. Even Forbes debunked his BS claims on that. He did, however, take time to brag to a reporter, falsely, that since the Towers were gone, he now had the tallest building in that part of Manhattan.

    3. Former NY Police Commissioner Bernie Kerick said during yesterday’s 911 Memorial that Trump sent his people to Ground Zero to help in the rescue/recovery efforts. He then confirmed that he saw Senator Biden for two minutes, one time. ONLY. Guess you’re TDS got it wrong again, huh?

    4. @thom wessels – Sure he did, but only after Trump granted his corrupt a$$ a full pardon for his 8 federal convictions.

Meanwhile, Richard Alles, head of FDNY at the time, has said for years that he was on site for months, never saw Trump there, was never told that anyone he knows saw Trump there and that there is no record of the workers Trump claims that he sent. Also, the Trump organization, at that time, had about 12 employees. Where did these ‘workers’ come from? He had some workers in Atlantic city, but there is no record of them being called to NY.

BTW, Trump also claims that he saw people jumping from the WTC while watching from Trump Tower, which would be quite the trick, since it is 4 miles away. Maybe he had a golden telescope, though.

Of all the people above, I believe the guy with no reason to lie.
