Mueller Prosecutor Calls Senate Intel’s Report On Russian Interference ‘A Remarkable Document’

Andrew Weissmann, who served on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team, reacts to the release of the Senate Intelligence Committee’s final report on Russian interference in the 2016 election where they describe a vast web of contacts between the Trump campaign and Russia, and call Trump’s former campaign chairman Paul Manafort a “grave counterintelligence threat”. Aired on 8/18/2020.

Mueller Prosecutor Calls Senate Intel’s Report On Russian Interference ‘A Remarkable Document’

    1. @Squashed8Ball its people like you that make this world the way it is. You spew so many lies from your mouth that you actually believe are true. Manafort was found guilty of the following

Five counts of tax fraud, two counts of bank fraud, and one count of failing to disclose a hidden foreign bank account; two counts of conspiracy

      Nothing to do with Russia.

Yea your right he pleaded to charges of bank fraud to allow the US to drop the charge of conspiracy against the US which carries up to 18 years. THAT MAKES COMPLETE SENSE THAT THE PROSECUTORS WOULD DO THAT OR COULD IT BE THE US GOV ” CHARGED ” HIM KNOWING THEY HAD NOTHING AND ALLOW THEM TO START LOOKING INTO HIS BUSINESS DEALINGS??? IF YOU HAVE SUCH A ” STRONG” CASE BECAUSE YOU BEEN “INDICTED” [ YOUR WORDS] THEN WHY WASNT HE CONVICTED FOR ANYTHING HE WAS ORIGINALLY CHARGED WITH.. BECAUSE THEY HAD NOTHING BUT SINCE HIS INDICTMENT WAS BOGUS IT ALLOWED THE FBI TO START INVESTIGATING ALL HIS BUSINESS DEALINGS. I WOULD THINK IT WOULD BE THE OTHER WAY AROUND ON THE PLEA.. DROP THE BANK FRAUD CHARGES THAT CAME LATER AND BE CHARGED WITH THE CONSPIRACY AGAINST THE US.. IT DOESNT TAKE A GENIOUS TO UNDERSTAND THAT WOULD HELP THE DEMS WITH THEIR RUSSIA HOAX!

JUST LIKE ROGER STONE. RAID HIS HOUSE WITH 30 FBI AGENTS , HELICOPTERS ABOVE FOR LYING??

WASNT OLE FBI AGENT PETEY BOY FIRED FOR LYING???WHERE’S THE RAID/HELICOPTERS??

      PRiCELESS!

    2. I agree — Hillary Clinton received “opposition research” from several foreign sources including Russians.
LOCK HER UP! LOCK HER UP! LOCK HER UP! LOCK HER UP!

  1. Trump’s involvement with Russia has been obvious from the start. If anyone is surprised by this, they haven’t been paying attention.

    1. @Gunflint Viking North Trump blocked zero witnesses, infact it was the DNC that blocked witnesses.

The DNC had zero fact witnesses. Shameful.

Could of had any witnesses they wanted in the hearing, but blocked everything because they would of had to allow quid pro joe and millionare hunter ukraine biden to be witnesses.

      Facts over feelings.

    2. @Gunflint Viking North Konstantin Kilimnik was a high level Russian spy was a fake story created by Andrew Weisman. The Senate Intel Committee just copied and pasted it into their report. Konstantin Kilimnik was a spy, but he was working for the US Government during the Obama Administration.
The MSNBC news story was created to brainwash the weak minded.

    3. Before the Soviet Union collapsed the KGB began courting wealthy Americans to finance the oligarchy that they were planning to replace it with. Trump was one of them. He will be tightly bound to them until his dying day. The plan is to turn the U.S. in to an authoritarian oligarchy that mirrors the Russian Federation ruled over by the Trump family for all time.

    4. @Gar Goil At the time your talking about Trump’s fortune plumented from 2 billion to less than 200 million. Some of his businesses filed for bankruptcy, he had to dump all of his Atlantic City holdings. I really don’t think Trump was financing Russia.

  2. Trump asked for help from Russia on live television. An hour later, they began helping. FFS this isn’t rocket science.

    1. @Kendra church Jesus most of Trumps closest aides are convicted felons and thats all you got?Seriously????Grow up!

    2. Who cares? We already have the Mueller report Wisemann and his band of Hillary donors already delivered to us remember? Mueller said The special counsel found that Russia did interfere with the election, but “did not find that the Trump campaign, or anyone associated with it, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these efforts, despite multiple efforts from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign.” https://www.americanbar.org/news/abanews/aba-news-archives/2019/03/mueller-concludes-investigation/

Talk about kicking a dead horse ROFLMAO

    3. Kendra church
170,000 dead Americans under trumps watch and you want to talk about Obama taking responsibility for something Putin did?Give me a break. What part of responsibility don’t you understand?

    4. @P McGill and yet the report was signed off by both Republicans and Democrats, Republicans control the senate! LOL orange fans mad

    5. Doomsurfer
Couple of things you conveniently left out. The report addresses trumps criminality and specifically does NOT exonerate him. The article you are referring to actually quotes Barr ,not the report. You may have noticed Barr is a fanboy of the orange moron. Of course he would try to spin it in as good light as possible. The only people kicking a dead horse are the ones supporting that obese incompetent criminal fool who is squatting in our White House.

  3. Trump’s Russian friends can’t open our envelopes and change our votes. That’s why Trump fears mail in voting.

    1. @Liam Lians Do you seriously expect the USPS to handle 300+ Million ballots in the next election? They can get lost in the mail. Paper ballots can get delayed by months. They can also get altered easily without verification. They are not monitored by a election site. The Post office has never provided nation wide mail in balloting of 300+ million voters.

  4. Does that at least disqualify his candidacy for a second term? Does it de-legitimize his term in office!!

    1. Trump’s base doesn’t care that he is a criminal, and they are willing to go to war for him. This will NOT end well! The chaos hasn’t even begun.

    2. Who cares? We already have the Mueller report Wisemann and his band of Hillary donors already delivered to us remember? 3. He’s demanding an eight year term. He knows it’s unconstitutional. That’s part of its appeal to him.

    1. J W my guess is you dont have a clue. Govt was never suppose to dictate our lives. Have you seen what the polls have done in the last 48 hrs? Joe/Kamala is a losing ticket. The far left keeps driving people like me away from the Democrat party. And its about to get worse.

    3. Because they are spine less cowards that will say and do anything to stay within power. No power no money no lavish life no upper hand. These people sold themselves no different than how a prostitute sells themselves. They are essentially prostitutes

  5. Michelle Obama said she had low grade depression. I think we will all have clinical depression if this crook gets re-elected. I’m being serious.

    1. What hasn’t been said nearly loud enough or often enough is that the suicide rate in the US has gone up 40% since Trump took office. And I haven’t seen the numbers since the pandemic started – probably even higher.

    2. Maybe Michelle “got low” after seeing that Portland Black Lives Matter protester kick that White guy in the head this week. Yeah, I’m not sure if kicking a defenseless White man in the head is what she meant by “going high.”

    1. @James Ricker Republicans want to limit the loss of the presidency to still maintaining a strangle-hold on the Senate. So whatever else happens, Moscow-Mitch will keep his roll as the Grim Reaper. Something he enjoys.

    2. Who cares? We already have the Mueller report Wisemann and his band of Hillary donors already delivered to us remember? 3. @Doomsurfer but the Senate did therefor delivering the evidence Mueller was looking for. Now all the dots are connected. Next stop: Vance.

    2. What are u hearing she Republican led Senate she led off with it’s unusual in these times get Republicans and Democrats in congress to agree on anything that’s true. She mentioned Congress in the first 10 seconds of the interview and never says it again. U need go back and listen to it again and don’t be so quick to say something negative.

    3. Exactly. Republicans in the House, Republicans in the Senate, Bill Barr. And Mueller and his team – most Republicans themselves – were far too soft on Unindicted Co-conspirator 1 (Trump). Congressional Democrats also shoulder some culpability for allowing the Trumpublican-Putin crimes to continue unabated in not being far more aggressive in fulfilling their duty to impeach the career fraudster and his cronies squatting in the White House and top level positions of the federal government.

    1. @Doomsurfer so Russia helped Trump cheat and win the election yet people still think Trump legitimately won the election fare and square. LMFAO

    2. yep, the media reported him hiding and sneaking documents in 2016, not strangely, he has been off the radar over the last 3 mos.

    3. @Ixxgxx I remember! He”s been laying low, and I think feeling the heat. In my opinion he is one of the most treasonous and should be prosecuted!

    1. I doubt it was a mistake, they knew what they were doing, the evangelicals get off scot free again.

    2. Who cares? We already have the Mueller report Wisemann and his band of Hillary donors already delivered to us remember? Talk about kicking a dead horse ROFLMAO

    3. Some Republicans in the Senate are calling for an eight year term if he’s reelected because that is what Trump has told them that he deserves. That would make him 83 when he leaves office and most of his supporters want Don Junior to run fo 2 eight year terms after that. It’s unconstitutional, but do you really think that any of them care about that?

    1. Wouldn’t be shocked if trump stepped down in December if he loses the election and try to have pence pardon him

    2. @Joe Sims That doesn’t protect him from state charges, that’s why he’s so desperate to rig the election. Four more years puts him beyond the statute of limitations.

  6. When Barr was disparaging the Mueller Report, I thought he was doing a serious whitewash. This report shows how blatantly misleading Barr has been.

    1. That’s what Barr does. Didn’t muller stop right after Barr came in. Steve bannon testifies stone was the contact

    2. Who cares? We already have the Mueller report Wisemann and his band of Hillary donors already delivered to us remember? Talk about kicking a dead horse ROFLMAO

    3. @toddburress68 Barr basically told Mueller to end his investigations because Barr and Trump are very very corrupt and only do things that help Trump and his buddies

    4. @Rob Evans like what Prosecuting the people that spied on his campaign. Committed sedition of the government. Profited off their offices. Completely committed treason. That’s what makes them corrupt. Then I say bring on more corruption

    5. @toddburress68 Absolutely trashing the American international image for personal gain needs to lose his wealth and his head

  7. So basically we have a Russian agent in the White House, the whole world knows it. The only ones who don’t are trump supporters.

    1. @R Wags he is their product, they made him who he is. They filled his bank account, they built his buildings all over the world. He is a Russian KGB Product at work, #ProdOfRussiaMadeInUSA

    2. @Doomsurfer yup. Next thing the republican led intell committee needs to do is to investigate barr for all his lies.

Then someone has to pass a law making it mandatory that every trumpie go back to school and stay there til they LEARN something….

      Nothing dumber than a trumpie…

    3. @Troy Cartwright Barr lies? When? What did he do that was illegal that needs investigation? You left that out of your stupid comment. Let me guess you’re a Fake News Witch Hunter? ROFLMAO

    1. Who cares? We already have the Mueller report Wisemann and his band of Hillary donors already delivered to us remember? 2. @Doomsurfer we should all care, should sll care that Trump still calls it a hoax. We should all be infuriated
Many should go to jail. What now you don’t care that ppl in our hovernment are traitors, cheat, lie daily are destroying our nation for their own profit. Many of us care.

  8. Shouldn’t trump’s election be considered invalid at this point. He cheated in his trip to the White House. This makes him invalid as president.

    1. Thunderbird, Kendra is part of the Russian disinformation campaign. But thanks for clearing it up

    2. @Kendra church Ronald effing Reagan, George Bush, or any other Republican president would have investigated an incoming president with hundreds of non-ordinary contacts with a foreign adversary, especially with Russia practicing ACTIVE MEASURES to subvert Democracy – DUH Obama allowed an investigation

Kevin Clinesmith, on the THIRD RENEWAL of a valid FISA warrant on known GRU/KGB target, Carter Page – added a line stating page *was not* a CIA source. He had been told one year earlier that page was. In fact, we was not, he had been interrogated for his contacts with Russian spies several times over the years. If that is a “source” I guess it is technically, then Clinesmith lied – but he didn’t lie, he altered an email ON THE 3rd warrant RENEWAL.

Why do you have such a problem with that little thing called *TRUTH* ???

    3. @Lars Jones Reagon and Bush and none of the other Presidents used the FBI to “illegally” investigate an incoming administration.
The only administration that did that was Obama.

Why did Clinesmith Plead guilty to altering a document? This is not the only incident where they tried to alter documents.
Why did Yates try to throw Comey under the bus?

This is not the last indictment.
It’s only the first indictment from Durhams investigation. There are probably loads more indictments incoming for the Dems.

      Ponder that.

    4. @Kendra church None of the other president had a RUSSIAN KOMPROMAT ASSET coming in behind them.

Clinesmith plead guilty to altering the document because he altered the email. His understanding is that Page *was not* a CIA source. His boss wanted a definitive answer to that. He should not have changed the email on the 3rd renewal, he takes responsibility, did not mean to deceive, and is taking responsibility because what he did was wrong.

Yates DID NOT throw Comey under the bus. and to tell the truth, I personally don’t care if a dozen agents broke the law- if they had to – to protect our country from the red and orange menace. If they fall on their swords they are still heroes and yea, Martyrs for the sovereignty of our country. You are defending a traitor – that makes you a traitor.

      Ponder that

    5. @Kendra church Mueller is not a Democrat. Please provide the link to the information that Obama used the FBI to investigate either McCain’s or Romney’s campaign (as they were rival candidates against Obama).

  9. ughh.. you know that, It wasn’t collusion, it was a conspiracy with an enemy. In other words, treason. !!!

    1. Any Republican who voted against Trump’s impeachment or has enabled him, is guilty of treason themselves.

    2. Treason has such a narrowly defined meaning. We are not at “war” with Russia so it wasn’t treason in the LEGAL sense. It definitely was putting personal gain above the interests of the USA and whatever charge that could be. It is 100% UNAMERICAN though.

  10. WOW America! I’m Canadian and very concerned CHARACTER MATTERS Vote the con man out please!!!! 🇱🇷🇨🇦
