NASA scrubs Artemis I rocket launch due to engine issues. CNN reporter explains why

The Artemis I launch has been scrubbed after the team was unable to work through an issue on one of the rocket's four engines. The uncrewed rocket was due to launch on a journey around the moon. CNN Space and Defense Correspondent Kristin Fisher reports from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. #CNN #News

    1. @Kristy Campbell I’m subscribed to this channel that’s why I’m saying it here. I’m not going to your Channel. I’m not dumb

  1. I’m just glad they delayed the launch to go over some things probably instead of launching then just figuring out about the problems.

    1. Absolutely! Imagine launching and saying no big deal only to have an explosion. The no big deal suddenly becomes a three to five year delay only to turn it into a seven year delay of a manned space flight. Even a thirty day delay is not worth that.

  2. I think they made the right choice to scrub the mission, due to hydrogen fuel leaks, and the weather. Last night the guy was saying a tank was leaking, then today they said there was a leak in through the engines. Time to roll the Artemis back into the shop and repair all the problem zones and test the repairs if possible.

    1. The best AAA towing plan only covers 200 miles. They’d use that up pretty fast. Hopefully, they just locked their keys inside and need AAA to get the door open.

  3. NASA maybe you should call Elon Musk for help because he knows how to get those spaceships up an air a whole lot cheaper than you do and less money on the taxpayers I’m sure he’s welcome to give y’all some pointers

    1. @T Tarantulas4U Rather spend 57 millions dollars day on the advancment on mankind than 106 million a day on imprisoning our citizens.

  4. Why don’t they just use those things people say they have at area 51. I can’t believe they still use a very old fashioned design all these years later and it’s still a rocket pushing flame’s out of the bottom, well i don’t think mankind has much of a chance of future survival when they still got a firework to push them up into space.

    1. The tricky thing about the other designs is that they don’t exist, because the people who say there are secret aliens mistake fun sounding stories for true sounding facts.

  5. Haha… they’ve been saying they’re going to go back to the moon since George Bush. Every president since

    1. @Don b im selling the Brooklyn bridge for only one million dollars, you seem like the kind of guy i cant count on to buy this once in a lifetime offer.

  6. If they haven’t observed those engine abnormalities or leaks that could’ve been the earliest and grandest New Year’s fireworks for 2023.

  7. Bummer, absolute bummer. I am sure it is taxing for every single person involved in the process of getting it off the ground. They will get it done. Patience

    1. 1 ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA Fuk what you saying it here 😠 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgaFEZCHz_k

  8. Well damn I didn’t think it was that drastic maybe homeboys forgot their keys or didn’t put any gas in itπŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

  9. Nice job by Kristin in summarizing the SLS construction method and in describing the engine arrangement. I see so many “space journalists” who don’t seem to understand what is really going on.

  10. If you ask me NASA should have asked for help from Russia and China as they’re way ahead of the USA in rocket πŸš€ technology.
