  1. i would like to thank Turkiye, Finland and Sweden, for accepting my invitation to engage in negotiations to find a way forward. Most of all, I would like to thank Pres Putin of Russia, for inducing 2 countries that have been neutral for over 1/2 a century, join in our alliance.

    1. @JOSEPH STOLEN- ELECTION thank you for your comment comrade. 4 rubles have been transferred to your account.

    2. @Daniel Arcadia if you are a chess piece when game close, kings and pawns ends up in same box…

    3. @Cem Yurdakul Caught you cheating … The board and all pieces are smashed….if you move , you will not see another dawn

  2. The Russo-Finnish border is about 800 miles long, but it’s mostly densely forested with few roads. That was one of the features that favored Finnish defense during the 1939-40 Winter War

    1. @Jan Feelders I prefer the cold and hate the heat. Having lived in so many regions of the US, I like to have all the seasons, but I prefer that the temperature remain cool. If it never got hotter than 65F (18C), I would be thrilled. I love snow and don’t mind ice and blizzards. I understand there is a train in Norway that will take one to the Arctic Circle and I hope one day to experience that.

  3. The blond reporter is a very brave lady, i watched numerous reports from her at the battle field front line.

  4. NATO was literally created to counter Russian aggression and expansionism. It’s why several former Soviet countries rushed to join NATO after the fall of the USSR. They wanted a guarantee that Russia would not try to invade them again. Just like what Russia did in Chechnya, Georgia and now Ukraine. It’s no wonder that renewed Russian aggression has prompted more European countries to join NATO.

    1. @T Destroyer You do know that basically all of NATO has been lowering their military expenditures during the past 25 years, and that the U.S. began moving large parts of their troops and equipment out of Europe prior to Russia attacking Ukraine? Heck, Russia was even invited as a partner nation to NATO, and discussion were even up for a while for a possible entry into the EU one day (probably would never have happened, but still).

But then Russia began their $700 billion military spending program, began attacking their neighbors, spreading propaganda and having a hostile attitude. Then they said NATO was escalating on their borders, while clearly it was the other way around. Russia does nothing but talk crap and make excuses so they can behave like the backwards medieval country it is.

  5. Russia is like my crazy, possessive ex-girlfriend. She does incredibly provocative things, unabashed transgressions, then shouts foul when action is taken to address those transgressions.

    1. @mitchmomlc countries shouldnt act irrationally like human beings do. Thats why dictatorships are bad. A country shouldnt follow one persons whims

  6. And let’s all give a shoutout to our biggest recruiter! We couldn’t have made this possible without good ol’ PUTIN. Thanks my man, for showing us that we really do need NATO.

    1. @Fred A Trump is more than that, he’s a traitor and an orange painted clown. Even that’s an insult to clowns however, at least they’re meant to be a joke.

The USA’s removal from NATO would’ve been catastrophic and emboldened the likes of Russia or even perhaps China to do who knows what.

Thank the people in charge for being of remotely sane mind however, that ol’ Donnie didn’t get his way.

  7. Lets have a moment of silence & thank Mr. Putin for giving Finland & Sweden a push to join NATO. I’m totally grateful to Mr. Putin for strengthening the alliance. Do give Mr. Putin the credit where credit is due.

  8. Awesome!
Welcome Sweden & Finland, glad you join us soon !
it’s a great news for the European continent, for Ukraine, and for global security of the democratic world. 👍

we should made it a feast to celebrate 🥳🥂 annually 🎇, it’s the political equal of 4th of July

  11. For as Finns it is strange to always hear about the long border with Russia, it has been like that always and that is the reason why we have huge defence force and readiness to defend our country.

    1. if thats the case why do you need to join nato? to get free usa defense like every other freeloader in europe?

  12. Was Putin really such a grand fool that he did not see this coming when he invaded Ukraine ???

  13. Happy to see the way cleared for Sweden and Finland to join the alliance. Let’s keep NATO strong and hold the line.

  14. NATO is not nor has ever been a threat to Russia. That’s because nobody in NATO has any desire to deal with Russia’s problems. NATO has never had any desire to force other countries to join the alliance. Likewise, NATO isn’t going to block friendly countries from joining NATO of their own free will.

  15. “everything goes according to plan”. Congratulations to the citizens of Sweden and Finland from Ukraine

  16. As I have stressed, Finland & Sweden joining NATO is imminent and inevitable. It is just a matter of time.
Much ❤ to my Finnish and Swedish friends! ❤🇫🇮🇸🇪
