Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys is speaking out about the death of his younger brother Aaron Carter, who was found dead Saturday at his home in Southern California.

"My heart has been broken today," Nick, 42, began in a tribute shared to Instagram Sunday. "Even though my brother and I have had a complicated relationship, my love for him has never ever faded." Aaron died at age 34.

In 2019, Nick filed a restraining order against his brother. "We were left with no choice but to take every measure possible to protect ourselves," he tweeted at the time. "We love our brother and truly hope he gets the proper treatment he needs before any harm comes to himself or anyone else."

Let’s not forget Aaron’s words.. not everything he said was BS. He said ALOT of truths. Maybe Nick is a mean narcissist after all πŸ€” Guess God will judge that..
    Rest easy Aaron πŸ’›πŸŒŸ

  4. My condolences to the Carter family. I’m so sorry for your loss. πŸ’”πŸ’” I followed Aaron’s music since I was a kid. I hope he finds peace in heaven. πŸ˜“πŸ™

  5. His Brothers abandoned him, bullied him. All he wanted was Respect and mostly Love. Rest in Love and Peace Aaron πŸ˜₯πŸ’”

  6. Just here to add the virtual love and hugs to Nick and his family. I hope…nah, I KNOW, there’s men who’ve been following Aaron’s story and outspokenness and they feel very close to Aaron as he mirrors their struggles. Through this tragedy they will find courage to accept help and treatment…maybe allow people into their lives a bit more and just reach for a middle ground that’ll give them peace and health in their life.

Takeoff and Aaron gone – if we each have the capacity to do just a small gesture to notice someone and let them feel heard; most times these are men with tremendous strength and resilience, beautiful souls, who have so much love to give – that can also attract the wrong people at the wrong times which becomes a catalyst for slipping into darkness. It’s not time to speculate as to why Aaron has physically left this earth but it is time to recognize his force, his message, his humanity and most of all, how much he was loved and gave love. πŸ«ΆπŸ½πŸ’™ – M xx
