  1. *“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” –  Martin Luther King JR., ‘Letter from a Birmingham Jail’ (1963)*

    1. @Kirk Bowyer Yep, just ask the 300 people murdered in the mob violence in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

    2. MLK jr. was Republican. I have never heard just one single Democrat who could explain why that is. Because there absolutely is a significant difference between the ide4ology of conservatives and the ideology of communist democrats. So… WHY was MLK jr. Republican and not Democrat?

    1. its difficult to determine who should get money, with immigration from black countries after slavery, the better follow up question should have been why. Reparation money should definitely get paid in the form of money to education for those poorest communities, more health care, more counselling services, cheap loans for business opportunities. Bring back a type of affirmative action or simply remove names, age and gender from job applications. There are better reparation strategies than cash handouts.

  2. Labor is what creates value.

Most of tbe wealth in this country is held by people who’ve never worked for a living.

    1. Like Obama, Opera, Don Lemon, Sheila Jackson Lee, Mazie Hirono, Barbara Lee, 75% of the NFL, 85% of the NBA all of whom are the RICHEST people on the PLANET.. Stop believing in your own LIE!

    2. @Mournstar if you actually believe that all it proves is that you haven’t read any actual fascist literature.

      I am antifa.

And if you believe that means I’m a fascist it’s because you’ve been brainwashed by actual fascist propaganda.

    1. Wtf. Its stupidity like yours that keeps you a second rate citizen and makes the rest of dislike you. Grow up

    2. Guess what, slavery is over, its illegale.

If you know a case of slavery, follow your duty as a citizen and report it to authorities as soon as possible !

    3. Name me one person who is a “Slave” in America❓ How about you name me one Law that discriminates against Black Americans❓ I didn’t think so you BRAIN-DEAD MORON!

  3. Their refusal to hold the shameless demagogue accountable has given his petty and criminal nature free reign.

  4. Hey, when did Bozo the Clown start reporting for the New York Times??? Nevermind, it doesn’t matter….Nothing surprises me anymore….

  5. This was actually a really good interview… going to track down the actual article now. Bet it’s behind a paywall.

  6. If you’re gonna do that, it’s about time the theft of wealth of women, all colors, needs to be redressed.

  7. Why should my taxes go towards reparations, i have family that died fighting for the union to help end slavery……which is what good people did back then
