    1. If the Oscar’s were solely based on talent then that analogy would make sense. The entertainment industry however is very political and it’s usually who you know that gets you nominated and or winning.

    1. Exactly. Take the Lilly Singh late night talk show. She did the same thing and hired POC just for the sake of it and look how crappy her show is.

  1. This is pathetic, how is this not racism lmao whatever happened to merit, nah colour is more important! What a joke.

  2. Hollywood is dead and Oscars is not far behind. I don’t plan to watch anything anytime soon coming from that direction. Much better free content on YouTube. Hollywood Oscars RIP. Idiocy is incurable.

    1. I do. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine to win one. Looks like my odds just shot up 10000%. I have mixed feelings though.

    1. It’s a slight of hand. Don’t focus on all the systemic sexual abuse from Hollywood executives and elites, nono look here at all this diversity. Sad part is it will work on some morons.

  3. No wonder Hollyweird is hemorrhaging so much money. The majority doesn’t want to pay to see the minority put on a pedestal.

  4. Is there any other country where this nonsense would be tolerated. Imagine South Korea or India being forced to be more diverse in their movies
