  1. LOL Amazing how everyone in this inquiry is turning on each other. Blaming each other for not doing their jobs or got enough support. Bottom line there was no need for the Emergency act

  2. What this inquiry has fundamentally proven is just how soft, pampered and incomepetant government employees are. How fundamentally duplicitous, corrupt and out of touch they are. We need a reckoning from top to bottom and it starts at every town council all the way up to the PM.

    1. Maybe it’s time to move the national capital to somewhere above the Arctic Circle. Perhaps some real-life hardships will snap them back to reality.

    2. Continue voting in Liberal minded individuals and you will continue getting this attitude and mind set. Vote McKenney in and she will ruin this City.

  3. What strikes me so funny is how each person who testifies seems to throw someone else under the bus. Rather than just admit that Trudeau should have addressed the protest instead of going into hiding, they all squirm and point fingers at the police, or the police bd or the city of Ottawa or the mayor….it’s everyone else’s fault …it couldnt possibly have been dealt with if Trudeau had just spoken yo the protesters as they demanded. This who thing is Trudesus fault and the sooner he is ousted the better this country will be regardless of which party is in power

    1. @George Eliot
      average sane adult in Ottawa
Proof the province shouldn’t be allowed to vote

  4. I’m a Canadian who’s suffered under the rule of the current government for the past 6 years? Where’s my money?

    1. @Nothing2See current admistration is for the current social structure. But okay keep making your jokes they are actually pretty funny

  5. I lived in Ottawa for 20 years and I can tell you that the downtown core is fat cat city and the politicians/bureaucrats are useless.

  6. Just one big blame game. Just a bunch of self entitled bureaucratic idiots pointing fingers and claiming this person didn’t do this, that person didn’t do that, while they themselves did nothing. Fact is, the protest happened and continued because the person at the very top refused to do their own job, which is to listen and engage with Canadians.

    1. for what it’s worth A guy I know that does work in the Ottawa calls the Ottawa valley “valley of the goons”

  7. If I remember correctly she was trying to run the Police Comission like a little Dictator a d was the main reason Chief Sloly quit his job.

  8. The police knew that this was, at it’s heart, a political issue, not an enforcement issue. They had a constitutional right to protest. The city also had ample time to set up blockades to prevent the trucks from parking all over downtown and they did NOTHING. This city is used to large protests. They could have been rerouted to a parking area and bussed in to protest during the day.

    1. They had a constitutional right to stand on the parliament lawn protesting to their hearts’ content.

They had no right to block roads to do so, though. That’s always been illegal, and “I’m doing it to protest” isn’t a defense or an excuse. See, G20 enforcement.

    2. @xcfjdyrkdtulkgfilhu there was always emergency lanes open so technically the roads weren’t blocked. But I take it you haven’t been watching this inquiry otherwise you would know this.

  9. When looking at the private sector wages I’d expect better value from administration in government frontline offices.

  10. Convoy blames Federal government, City of Ottawa blames Federal Goverment.

Federal goverment deflects, and blames everyone else.
