They’ve seen this before, and they’ll see it again. I lived there for 5 years, it is amazing how they have water management down to a fine science in such a flat place. Shellmouth reservoir, Portage Diversion, Winnipeg Floodway, Brunkild flood wall, Hoop & Holler Bend….. They know what they are doing.

Manitoba is one of the coldest provinces in Canada… And the flooding…. Makes me depressed just thinking about living there.
