    1. Exactly. How much of the current crisis has been exacerbated but the idiots in government and the health authorities? They’re still blaming everything on covid and accepting no responsibility. Two years of enforcing mandate policies and no efforts toward increasing capacity; in fact, they’ve managed to reduce workforce during this time period.

  1. We need more nurses. My kid wanted to be a nurse here in Alberta but the university training opportunities are too limited.

    1. Yup this πŸ‘†πŸ™Œ very limited training in Manitoba as well. There used to be should start up again a college dedicated to nursing only with dorms in every province open to just Canadian residents.

    1. @J Mac Please explain why 400 nurses tested positive when they are double vaxxed and some triple vaxxed?

Why are there so many covid cases when the vaxx rate has also gone up?

Our government has already failed at every single level.
Yesterday’s heroes, treated like crap today.

  3. Do what Quebec did…. let the positive nurses/doctors work. Clearly shows being covid positive means nothing

  4. Is this why they fired their staff, to cut overhead? Submit or be fired; coercion as a cost saving measure? What scumbags

  5. Seems odd to destroy all the field hospitals that were already built for this. hmmm
Built in every province – destroyed in every province. During such a terrible pandemic? hmmmm

  6. There is vast overmanagement and no accountability in the Canadian health care system. This wont change until it breaks down and then real change can happen.

  7. I’ve heard this threat twice a week for the last two years. Then hundreds if not thousands of nurses around the country were summarily fired for correctly predicting that an untested medical treatment would not be effective and thus not worth assuming the unknown risk involved. I’m struggling to care about what the spotlight hogging figureheads of this erroneously deified profession want me to do with my life.

  8. Hire more nurses. Increase the pay to attract more. Fire any government official who works against our healthcare system. Looking at you Doug.

    1. The total opposite is happening & it’s all across Canada, try looking at everyone in government!

    2. Its cute you think Doug Ford is in charge of anything & isnt just the mouth piece of those truly in charge.

  9. I had pneumonia for 2 years. Because of covid and “professional + high motivated nurses and doctors” I can’t get help. I had 9 covid test and 0 test of lungs… I went to Europe and made simple test of bacteria in mouth for 10 dollars. Then returned to Canada family doctor and receive antibiotics… This medical system needs upgrade. Few days ago went to chiropractic doctor – payed 60 $ for 30 min. Get 15 min talk with doctor and 5 minutes of chiropractic service… Back still in pain…

  10. Someone needs to explain that firing Nurses, formerly known as heroes, does not make sense if we are in a true emergency especially if you want to claim a possible collapse of our health care system in the same sentence.

    1. @Adam Taj Hassam you seriously have no idea what com muni sm is do you? Research some phukin history you lemming.

    2. EXACTLY you said it! They’re still counting faulty case numbers and empty hospitals prove it.

  11. How many of those ‘patients’ are going to the hospital because of covid, and how many went to the hospital for something else, were tested at the hospital, then counted as a covid hospitalization?

  13. Stop wasting money on lockdowns and invest that money in the healthcare system….if we had invested half of the money spent so far we would have a gold standard system🀬
