@Konrad Yearwood Hi Konrad. That’s a really good point. I hadn’t looked at it from your angle (I just rather non-specifically thought he’d need more experience) yet what you say makes a lot of sense.
I think he’d probably learn quite quickly at what level of detail he’d need to operate – he certainly already communicates well and pitches the relevant specifics when appropriate.
It was a failing of John Kerry that he would lose people by explaining details that he probably didn’t need to, but didn’t break out of that tendency. I suspect Mayor Pete wold adjust as necessary – I certainly hope he does…
