Imagine the numbers of people who would be dead if Trump didn’t do the racist China travel ban. 430,000 Chinese came in the month of January 2020. Imagine another 500-600K in February & March, each one (some % infected), being a vector of transmission spread across the country. You’d have dead people all over the country in their own home because they couldn’t get into a hospital. But carry on about how tests were the problem. Which is better? Additional tests to see the scale of the problem at that snapshot in time or another 1,000,000 to 5,000,000 infected in America? The latter would be the what the US would be experiencing right now had they responded to the problem.

At a point in time when America’s need to come together. MSNBC continues to always look at the worst side of everything. When something good happens in this pandemic, they say the governor’s done it. When something bad happens it’s always Trump done it.

You just always see MSNBC and CNN trying to put the Democrats against the White House. You watch them ask Como the stupidest questions ever. When Trump shut the country down the Democrats said it was too early. Now that it worked, they’re saying he acted to late. so when you see someone switch directions and contradict thimself there usually the one that’s wrong. Not only that MSNBC and CNN reported it would be 2.5 million deaths in the United. With a minimum of 100,000. So if we stayed below 33,000 death in the United States. It was handled 3 times betterthen the Democratic party, MSNBC, and CNN said it would be.

@Meg Most of those struck down were elderly dying of chronic diseases anyway. IN fact many of the deaths were attributed to Covid-19 WITHOUT ANY TESTING for the virus itself. This was done under recently released guidelines by the CDC that allows this nonsense. There’s a financial incentive to attribute deaths to Covid-19 as funding from the aid bill goes disproportionately to hospitals and institutions that rack up the highest covid-19 numbers. They added over 4000 cases that died from natural causes to the covid-19 death tally in one fell swoop from New York in the last day or so. It’s al bogus at this point. Still lower numbers than seasonal influenza, both nationwide and globally.

Trump’s travel ban on China are pretty shortsighted considering the scope of the pandemic, while half a million Americans from affected regions returned without any restrictions to infect all 50 states.
