DeJoy needs to be criminally investigated.
@jose capa firing him is just recycling the problem, in the video they say Democrats want Biden to take oversight. You may have not had problems with your mail since he took office but the problem of billion dollar losses every year because Congress passed a plan to PRE-FUND health and retirement benefits for existing and FUTURE employees. That’s straight up ridiculous for a government entity to do, especially considering in 2006 they were beginning to ship so many Amazon packages it was nearly half of all mail shipped and the government did practically nothing to fix that problem and it only over saturated our mail system. These problems won’t be fixed with a new post master they can only be fixed with a new Congress you know?
@E Garza Great idea. Then we will no longer get daily mail and we will have to pay a LOT more for what we do get. The USPS is required by the Constitution to deliver mail to EVERY American. So you want to get rid of the Constitution?
Any private company would only deliver to who they can make lots of money delivering to. This is why none of the private utilities wanted to give phone service and electricity to rural areas–because they couldn’t make as much as they’d like to providing that service. Rural areas would be hardest hit and pay the most for basic delivery.
I’d love to see your face when you finally got what you want. Like someone smacked you on the back of the head. It’ll be like when the Texas utilities started charging whatever they wanted during the recent polar vortex.

The US postal service creed used to be: “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds” DeJoy is probably in the pocket of the commercial carriers. He is a crook and and a bum.

Biden must appoint honest people to that board. Dejoy has to go. He was a big contributor to Trump’s campaign and he has a interest in a competing company. It was so obvious that he dismantled machinery for voter suppression and he should pay to get those machines repaired.

So many payments were chased and work hours were wasted at my job over the Fall and Winter. I personally have a month’s worth of emails I can bring to court in my suit against Mr. DeJoy!
