Watching your news here from Europe since 4 years very intensive, i totally agree with you. Stephanie and Ari Velshi are two of best you have in your country in this business. Many of your news anchors are just microphone holders. In Germany, England or France your politicians would have been grilled by journalists if they would have tried to lie and lie and lie as much as some of your guys did and are still doing. I hope they will get more aggressive, more challenging and be better prepared for interviews as the were in the past.

Lucy, The numbers are not set in stone it is not known, Trump gets briefed everyday by experts! Do you? Tell me what good it would do to make people panic early? The experts talk all the time so if you are only considering what Trump says that is stupid. Trump is committed to keep numbers as low as possible let the experts do the work and that is all you can do! It may be the spread cannot be contained, I thank China and there wet markets it spreads disease and it tortures wild animals that don’t even belong together or in China!

This is getting a lot worse before it gets better.
Those lower income workers with no health care and no sick days: where are they working when they can’t afford to stay home sick? In the service industries, serving coffee, cleaning hotels, preparing food, taking tickets at venues, bagging food in the supermarket, cleaning your house, driving your taxi….. It doesn’t take a genius to see where that’s going.
Working at Amazon, Walmart, Disney – basically any big company that pays sh&t wages while the owner is worth billions.

@Nancy Bourque True, so if the government want them to stay home and quarantine, they should be given food for their families, and have their bills paid for. The little it would cost would far outweigh the stop of spreading the virus to others.

We still have to see how this virus behaves with obese people, something not so common in China, Korea or Italy but very common in the US comparatively
Luca, would probably depend on age and just how over weight you mean, some extra pounds can help sometimes as you can lose a lot of weight with a illness.
