Prayers go out…climate change in some parts of the world get floods others get droughts…
They go hand in hand, drought for long periods followed by even slightly too much rain can cause flooding, and where I live that’s caused entire roads to be closed and towns to be cut off from regular traffic needing a 3 hour drive around to get things to and from. It’s worse in even dryer deserts, let alone where you’re already near or at sea level.

This does suck but that’s what renters insurance is for and calling 9-1-1 because you’re apartment flooded is absolutely ridiculous

That’s because you don’t know Jesus can help people from the inside-out..not the outside in.
When people cling to things that will break or be ruined, how do people usually respond?
They respond like their whole life was the things that got ruined or broke.
So when things are ruined or broken, they feel ruined or broken.
So if you cling to your life, and your life ends(as all do), then you will end. But if you cling to the One who lives forever, then you will have everlasting life.
Jesus always makes a way when people come to Him. It may not be your way, but it’s a better way that is always ACCEPTED when Jesus reveals it to you.

what you do is common sense. get out of the apaetment and either drive away if u can or call 911 and not get on your phone and start whining that your cheap possessions are wet.
You don’t want to drive away. That is exactly how a mother and her kid died a couple storms ago here in dallas when she thought she could outrun the sweeping current. They found their bodies swept maybe 2 miles down the stream. This storm seen here is supposedly the worst it’s been in 100 years. There’s signs here in certain areas regarding Flash flooding. Getting in your car is a death trap. And going outside is certain death
