An animal rights protester stormed the football field as the Los Angeles Rams took on the San Francisco 49ers, but he didn't get far.

When the Los Angeles Rams signed Bobby Wagner, they knew they were welcoming home one of the brightest defensive stars in the league. Wagner made a statement on the field in a unique way during the "Monday Night Football" game against the San Francisco 49ers.

The eight-time Pro Bowler showed off his tackling skills when a protestor ran across the field at Levi's Stadium. While attempting to escape security and wielding a pink flare, the person ran toward the Rams' sideline where defensive end Takkarist McKinley sized him up. The person ran parallel to the sideline until Wagner swooped in at the same time McKinley made contact with him. The crushing blow leveled the person and got an "ooo" from the crowd.

The person was wearing a shirt advertising a website that was similar to that worn by two protestors who ran on the field at SoFi Stadium with a pink smoke bomb during the NFL season opener between the Rams and Buffalo Bills.

  1. He deserve to get leveled. You never run onto the field, especially to the opposing team side when they’re losing.

    1. By that logic, George Floyd deserved to get leveled as well since he tried stiffing a cashier, caused a disturbance, and resisted arrest. He should have just complied with the cashier and gone back inside

  2. After the stampede thing happening overseas, I’d take him out too. That’s a hazard encouraging others to rebel against good family time.

  3. Best thing I’ve seen today! 😂😂😂😂!!! Whatever enticed that nut to do that, he needs to throw it OUT!!! Running wild on an NFL open game-day field, with security chasing you, ends swiftly! They should have sacked him and kept him down!!!

  4. NFL players be living to have a moment like this… but as always, security fails to be security…

    1. Security is supposed to observe and report, not lay hands on people. By tackling the fan after Wagner took him down, they committed assault and impersonating a peace officer. (And before anyone says it, my home is private property but if I did that to a delivery driver or plumber who refused to leave, I would go to jail).

At least the Levi Stadium is PUBLIC property, so the fan had the right to be there

  5. XD I saw another camera angle there’s a guy on the right here who tears his Acl BAD chasing this dude

  6. your editors really do the lord’s work. Replaying the same clip 3 times at the same speed? That’s Pulitzer-level journalism right there.

  7. Unfortunately,
That was the only good highlight from the Rams
    Sidelines last night ..

  8. Goodness gracious! That looked like it hurt. Did that hurt? That really looked like it hurt…Hey, bro, you awake? [kicks him twice] Can you hear me? ARE… YOU… O…K…? Ouch!

Try to sue him. Try to sue him, the team, the league. Try to sue everyone. I dare ya! It’ll be hilarious.
