  1. Please give us Ginny Thomas under oath. I would love to see her toothy smile transform into a rictus of fear as she realises she’s going to ladies’ jail (don’t forget your toothbrush, Ginny)

    1. @UniteAmerica not sure why you would think I would disagree with that statement. I am a proud never trumper. #TuckFrump

    1. @Tricia Amor Nothing against Biden but I think he should step aside in 2024 and let someone younger run. I think that might bring in more young voters.

    2. Raskin’s own son couldn’t stand him! That’s probably why he killed himself! Then he used his son’s death to get people to feel sorry for him. What a pathetic individual!

  2. It’s time to “lock him up.” Let’s clean out the swamp that is 45*’s legacy. (That asterisks is for the two time impeachments)

  3. Amazing that it has taken two years to investigate something that only took a month to plan and one day to carry out. All of those involved need to be punished.

    1. @deboisblanc – Please specify. Do you mean all of those involved *in making* January 6th happen, “need to be punished?” Or do you mean “all of those involved” in the *investigation* of January 6th “need to be punished?” I’m hopeful you mean the former … but I wonder…

  4. Been looking forward to the new season of The January 6th Committee. Hope there are more episodes this season. 🤞🏽

    1. @Linda C Apologies for the length. Linda, I understand why the Committee’s investigation needs to continue. It’s more that not only do I feel we are personally powerless to do much of anything towards the needed accountability, it’s even more frightening that it appears our leaders are also powerless to do much of anything, esp concerning accountability. I’m still waiting for the DOJ to explain why they received four criminal referrals for Contempt of Congress, but chose to only indict 2 of the 4. I’d specifically like to know if Meadows and Scavino, the two who weren’t indicted, received judicial favor because they are the 2 out of the 4 that have held elected federal positions. The two who were indicted have not held an elected position. We see time and time again that our current AG seems uninterested in pursuing accountabilility for those who are or have ever been elected to public office. He’s allowed the first 7 of the 10 instances of obstruction Mueller documented, unless there’s a sealed indictment (doubtful). Of those who’ve received subpoenas from the DOJ and/or had their phones seized plus a home searched in connection with 01/06, not a single one is a politician. It certainly appears from the evudence presented and the facts we do know, that several members of Congress were actually involved in the planning process with many going so far as to request federal pardons for their participation. Yet, not a single one of them has been subpoenaed by the DOJ nor Congress to be questioned. Lying to Congress or the FBI is a felony and I wonder if that’s the reason these politicians are being given a pass as it’d be much harder to overlook this specific offense. No one has questioned any of the House members that met w/Trump in the WH before 01/06 (Gaetz, Jordan, Loudermilk, soon-to-be Rep. MTG, who actually spoke publically upon leaving the meeting). There’s also Senators Hawley, Cruz, Brooks, Scott, etc. Didn’t Grassley even let it slip in an interview just prior to 01/06 that he would be taking over Pence’s job of confirming the electorates on 01/06? It seems he should have been one of the first people questioned.
If the hearings were actually being watched by those who NEED to see and know what actually happened AND it caused them to have a change of mindset, it would be beneficial. Unfortunately, it’s not. It’s causing them to dog their heels in further. I can’t imagine what’s being said in meetings behind the closed doors of our current allies, esp their intelligence agencies. With the looming threat of Trump being in the WH again (or his disciples like DeSantis, paired with the DOJ’s many months of the lack of urgency in retrieving top secret documents pertaining to allies’ human intelligences, our gov’t is losing more credibility with each passing day. Trump’s motion for a special master never should have made it to J. Cannon’s docket. The FBI and DOJ should have already detained trump and questioned him about the purpose(s) for taking and also retaining the documents. If this had happened in any of our allied countries and concerned agents we had in enemy nations gathering intel for us, do you think the US would continue sharing it with that ally? We aren’t going to know what trump did with those documents until after a catastrophe happens.

If there’s no accountabilility, it’s more frightening knowing what they’ve gotten away with doing than not knowing what they’ve done. With what we do know about their actions, I can’t even imagine what we don’t know. If letting the public know but nothing ever comes of it, it will only cause further division between us and division between members of Congress. The longer there’s no accountabilility, the worse it gets and the more crimes they commit. I’m sure attorneys on DeSantis’s team warned him about the legal repercussions of his latest stunt, there’s really no reason for DeSantis to fear our DOJ.
There’s a reason ignorance is bliss. I am so disappointed with our DOJ that it brings tears to my eyes to think about it.

    2. The hearings have been great thanks to so much work by the Committee and others, but it’s all in vain if Trumpass is allowed to run again and he and others are not held accountable.

  5. Smart man right there. We need more smart people working our side. Unfortunately a lot of smart people shy away from the limelight. American hero , one for the history books that JR

    1. The committee has nothing and will be done in a few months. If you want to beat President Trump; then write legislation that helps America and the American people. Or Trump is our next president if his health holds up.

  6. Jaime Raskin always looks so tired. I’m sure he is burning the candle at both ends. He has a lion’s heart while he works so hard for democracy while carrying the grief for the loss of his son.

  7. Anyone who thinks that Newt Gingrich or Ginni Thomas would give honest and reality based testimony is probably delusional.

    1. “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.” Matthew 5:38-39

“Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar’s. And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s.” Luke 20:24-25

“And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.” Matthew 6:5-6

“But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.” Luke 14:13-14.

  8. Raskin has the brain 🧠 & character to be a Real leader. We need more serious politicians like him to get through this difficult time for our nation.

  9. Very thankful that the Committee has taken the time to dissect this calamity fully. We can’t prevent another one until we fully understand how this occurred. Moving forward as a nation means stopping from time to time to examine where we are and how we got here. What we’ve created in 250 years is incredible. But it still has a thin skin which can be penetrated by the negative element. This is how we thicken our skin.

    1. @R Wags I just don’t know why they would fall for such an obvious conman… all they had to do is spend a few hours online to research Trumps history. He treated this country just like all his businesses… and ended up the same way… Brought it to the brink and then blamed it on some one else.

  10. September 28. Can’t wait! I’ll be tuned in. Thanks again, Congressman Raskin, for your perseverance and your priceless integrity.

    1. In other news… Biden declares Covid is over… so therefore it is… 🤣🤣🤣 wow… wouldn’t want to affect the democrats chances for the election… unless of course the republicans win and then its back on… 😂😂😂

  11. Jamie Raskin, your efforts are so appreciated. You are an intelligent, articulate, and dedicated patriot. Many thanks.

  12. I live in Annapolis Maryland and we are SO PROUD of Jamie Raskin! Looking forward to the upcoming January6th Comittee hearings in September 28th! ❄️🌎❄️

  13. I also want to thank Mr. Raskin and the entire committee for not giving up, but doing their job to completion. I look forward to watching the next hearings. I look forward to the final report.
