  1. Economists have successfully predicted 13 of the last 3 recessions. Slightly less accurate than the weatherman.

    1. @Forty Two Real economists also know that inflating the currency supply causes inflation.

    2. @Forty Two Karl is so heavily invested and knows he’s losing his shirt this year! One shouldn’t turn a blind eye to the numbers/inflated markets!

    3. Except we’re already in recession. GDP negative for 2 quarters now. Textbook definition.

    1. @B F don’t bother replying to this person. Generally every political opposition around the world is using this as an excuse to attack those in power even though it’s happening everywhere.

  2. Why is it that they keep saying we are coming to a recession? Are we not already in a recession?

    1. That is true. Economic reports and inflation numbers usually lag the real economy by at least 1-2 quarters
