Trump should be at this trial every day of the trial like every citizen has to be at their trial. There are two separate laws for politicians and it has nothing to do with equality or democracy. America has become the Goodwill of democracy and we all know Goodwill has become an evil for-profit corporation
This isn’t a criminal trial. There is no Judicial power to compel a witness to appear. This might seem like bad news, but it’s actually good news for the Democrats. Because if this was a criminal trial, the case would already have been dismissed.

Yes he’s guilty of inciting an insurrection and yes he’s guilty of extorting Z, obstructing justice and I don’t know what all. Unfortunately acquittal is going to happen a second time. Confirm Garland and let him bring the indictment.
republicans who say there are no grounds to impeach someone after they have left offense should think about that that means. Which is that you can do whatever you want in the last week – including trying to over turn the election – and they will give you a free pass.

They refused to convict when the felony was blatant.
