Would this be a good time to remind everyone that Lindsey Graham said it would be “over his dead body” that they’d extend these unemployment benefits? Well, his and the 65,000 Americans who have died since he said that in April, I guess.

If unemployment psyment are higher than salaries, it could mean that salaries are just too LOW!!
Or it could mean that the salaries are simply a reflection of the skill set that the employee brings to the table.
@Ben Dover Or it could mean that salaries are too low. Workers have been increasingly viewed as an expendable commodity. Something that this pandemic has called into question. One of the few benefits out of this situation.

2 points. 1, if you choose 4 months of decent pay over long-term employment then i wish you the best. And 2, if unemployment benefits are higher than a jobs regular pay, I think that says more about how ridiculously low minimum wage is in this country than anything else…. God help us.
