    1. If residents in DC pay taxes, they should have representation. Make them a state while dems hold both the house and srnate.

    1. @N W an officer had his eye gouged out by a maga terrorist another was beaten unconscious with a us flag and pole.. some were crushed maced and kicked there is extensive photo and video evidence on YouTube and elsewhere your welcome to see reality any time your up for it..

  1. Whereas a BLM crowd stepping in the direction of the Capitol would have all been beaten and arrested if not gunned down like zombies.

  2. Fines for ignoring subpoenas? There also be contempt charges, jail. If a private citizen ignored a subpoena from a county judge, they would be in jail. Let’s start with Trump, he needs to be in prison.

    1. Thank you! I am DYING to know how these people ‘ignore subpoenas’ and get away with it? YOU or I simply decide NOT to show up in court would be arrested ASAP.
Apparently the Republicans just think they’re special. Trumpers think they don’t have to obey the law.

    2. It wasn’t just Trump who ignored subpoenas. I can almost see that a President or Vice President might be able to by pass a subpoena but no one else should be able to obstruct justice or ignore Congessional investigations.

    1. That’s encouraging. I wish it were easy to keep up with ALL of the who’s who, in Government. The upcoming generations will have an easier time of documenting and exposing the widespread Truths of the matters in question.

  3. It will be wild.
That should have been enough evidence to have extra security.
Where was Billy on that day?

  4. Trump’s failed coup illustrates exactly why DC needs to become a state. It’s ridiculous that Mayor Bowser required Pentagon authorization to call in the National Guard and that many of the officers have no representation in the Congress they were fighting to the death to protect.

    1. Well not to the death only one insurrectionist was shot. Meanwhile last night’s news another black man murdered by law enforcement. The charge Jaywalking!

  5. Sorry, but it’s on youtube showing ex-trump watching his supporters storm the Capital, and did nothing. Then others like Jr and Kimberly celebrating with champagne.

    1. Hopefully we’ll hear from the WH staff that were with trump during the insurrection. To be fair, the video of the party was actually BEFORE the rioting. We don’t know much about what trump was doing (other than his tweets and lack of action to stop it).

  6. They wanted Pence and Pelosi. That was obvious. They needed those electoral votes, no matter who got hurt. That’s why they were called to DC.

    1. And that my friends is the depth of how dumb Trump is, to actually believe some shenanigans like that could change anything.

    2. @Bill Walsh That’s how desperate he was.!? With an indictment held over his head, by the Manhattan prosecutors, he certainly has a lot to worry about.
He is a private citizen now, and using his Presidency as immunity, ain’t going to cut it for him this time.

  7. I feel like there’s something more going on during that riot, and the lack of connection between warnings and actions. Like it reads to me more like they sent the reports warning of the attack, but it ended up directed to one of Trump’s lackeys and that person was told or reached out to by the WH saying “don’t do anything, it’s MAGA” and they just like tossed the report or never mentioned it. And then it got out of hand :/

  8. What was the president doing the entire time? Not stopping the insurrection.

How long did it take him to do it? He ignored it instantly, the entire time.

  9. Everyone involved with that violent insurrection, including the insiders who helped incite it, needs to be held accountable to the maximum extent of the law.

    1. @A T …those people have already been arrested, cupcake… now we’re dealing with the trump supporting white supremacist neoConfederate bigot insurrectionists…

    1. @Roxanne Mitchell Thank you. English isn’t my first language, nor is it often spoken in the Netherlands.

  10. I’m having a hard time not thinking Trump had people in place that had their hands in the botched preparation and response for his insurrection so that his goons had a better chance.

    1. Look at all the changes he made after the election…duh! Homeland, Pentagon , Justice etc. …what part of “ coup “ don’t ya get? ⚡️⚡️

    2. @Mike Boate
If the Senate was serious about getting to the bottom of things, they would have called to testify the person who had the power to send in the National guard within minutes after the riot began. That was Trump. I guarantee that they will not call on him to testify.

Bill Barr may have known about it since he resigned shortly before January 6. Why resign when you will be out of the job in a few weeks?
So far, no mention of Maryland Governor Larry Hogan who offered help with his National Guard, but .

    1. They have been lied to by fox, by republican leaders, by their president. They are also ignorant , stupid , violent thugs who think that using violence is the only solution and laws dont apply to them. We also saw that they hate the police, hate jews and hate minorities. So puppets but the worse disgusting puppets imaginable. I have genuine sympathy for them….but i am reserving it for when every one of them is behind bars and the cop killer and bomber are exposed along side any politicians who aided them.

  11. say one simple sentence.. yeah they will all choke on it before saying the election was free and fair and NOT stolen

  12. Follow the U.S.Constitution and PEACEFULLY transfer power after a lawful election or become little Soviet Union
