Rep. Zooey Zephyr was barred from returning to the Montana House floor amid a legal battle between her and Republican lawmakers.

The legal battle between a Montana House Democrat and her Republican colleagues continued this week after a judge ruled Tuesday that Rep. Zooey Zephyr was barred from returning to the state House floor.
District Court Judge Mike Menahan said it was outside his authority to overrule lawmakers who voted last week to exclude Zephyr from the House floor and debates. He cited the importance of preserving the U.S. Constitutionβs separation of powers between the legislative, executive and judicial branches.

@Joe Narbaiz As you stated female / male are biological terms. The terms man / woman are also biological terms (not social) used to designate male humans and female humans. And if we are talking about humans then yes all females are women and all males are men. Zooey Zephyr is a man (a male human) who has decided to dress as a woman. But he is not a woman.
Your first statement may be correct. Your second one is not. Iβm sorry if you feel differently, but you donβt get to decide two words mean the same thing when they do not. Sex is biological, yes. Gender is not. This is not a new thing, as many of yβall believe. Our modern view of gender is not accurate, trans and nb people have existed for centuries.
