    1. Ninety-eight dollars? Was that the damage you and your toothless brother caused to your single-wide fighting over your toothless sister?

  1. I hate to put it in this perspective but I guess now we can see what the new government that took over the area can do in a crisis situation and whether or not they will be able to keep stability in that region. I hope the people there will find peace.

  2. Prayers for the INNOCENT PEOPLE. of AFGHANISTAN.. this Natural disaster COULDNT have happened at a worse time for these villages
and towns… Peace to the affected FAMILIES and let’s hope their tears turn back to JOY again soon.

  3. The reason why there were so many fatataities for a 5.9 is because the structures/homes there are haphazardly built and often pieced together with basic stones and mortar with no structural foundation. A lot of them probably collapsed immediately.

    1. @Jeff Winger Thanks for asking. When I got back to US I literally wanted to jump out of my van and kiss the ground. My point is that we are very, very fortunate in US and should have empathy and pity for these less fortunate people.

The video that you recommended looks like a cooking class. It teaches you how to cook Saigon food ?

    1. @Shannon Brown Actually, we’re not as divided as you’re trying to make it seem, because there’s really only one Islam which over 90% of Muslims in the world follow–and its “Sunni” Islam–Islam based on the sunnah (way) of the prophet Muhammad and the Quran. Anything that deviates from that is not considered Islam. And Sikhs aren’t even Muslim. 😂

Christianity cannot be compared to Islam. As Muslims, we have a unifying way of greeting each other, praying, glorifying God, dressing, practicing religious ceremonies and organizing society. We also all recite the same book revealed by our Creator–the Quran–in the original language that it was revealed in. This is why I say Islam has stronger unity and brotherhood than Christianity anyday. There are thousands of different sects of Christianity, each with differing interpretations of the Bible, which btw has been translated to the thousands of other languages. English speaking Christians have an English Bible, Spanish speaking Christians have a Spanish Bible, Greek speaking Christians have a Greek Bible and so on. Christianity is an individualist religion. Most Christians also believe in the idea of separating church and state, which Islam completely prohibits. Any believing Muslim in the world would rather live under the sharia than a secular democracy in a heartbeat.

    2. @Shannon Brown Also, this is not about who’s religion is more “unified” or “better”. To be honest, you should seek the truth. Islam is not only for born Muslims. It was revealed by God for all of mankind. Anyone can choose or reject to submit to what their Creator has revealed. And those who reject their Creator, well let’s just say that a not-so-good fate that awaits them.

*”These are two opposing groups that disagree about their Lord: as for the disbelievers, garments of Fire will be cut out for them and boiling water will be poured over their heads,*

*melting whatever is in their bellies, along with their skin.*

*And awaiting them are maces of iron.*

*Whenever they try to escape from Hell—out of anguish—they will be forced back into it, ˹and will be told,˺ ‘Taste the torment of burning!’*

*˹But˺ Allah will surely admit those who believe and do good into Gardens, under which rivers flow, where they will be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their clothing will be silk,*

*for they have been guided to the best of speech, and they have been guided to the Commendable Path.”*

      (Quran 22:19-24)
