If you hire a hitman to murder someone, but the hitman doesn’t go through with it – by law, you are still guilty of a crime.

    • @Pillar of Truth, It just becomes a conspiracy to commit murder rather than an actual murder. It’s still a crime though.

    • @Jason C. time the unlawful republicans are schooled in the law and the CONSTITUTION not to mention right vs wrong

  4. I think republicans lying for Trump need to be investigated.

    • @Kevin Matthews Trump is the head of the DOJ. He can ask for investigations. That is it dude. Everything else you said I don’t have an opinion on because I don’t interpret law on nor will I distract with other events.

    • Is that what u think? Wow, u must b smarter than the FBI.

    • How are they lying for him? It’s cnn that is lying. Read the transcript. President Trump is asking President Zelensky to look into crowd strike, the corruption in the 2016 election. He only mentions Biden because Joe got a prosecutor fired who was investigated a corrupted company Burisma. That concerned Trump.

    • @Mind Hive Yeah, did you finally notice the mirror in front of you?

    • @Akon FentyBiden wasn’t doing it for personal reasons:
It was US Policy, the EU was asking for him to be fired, the IMF was calling for it, Ukraine was calling for him to go, and protests in the streets, for the prosector to go..

according to testimony John E. Herbst, a former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine under President *George W. Bush* gave in March 2016 to a subcommittee of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
“By late fall of 2015, *the EU and the United States* joined the chorus of those seeking Mr. Shokin’s removal as the start of an overall reform of the Procurator General’s Office,” Herbst testified.

The former top prosecutor was dismissed by parliament after a chorus of criticism by European diplomats and international organizations, and even street protests calling for his resignation.
the director of the Anti-Corruption Action Center, a Ukrainian transparency group, stated, ““Shokin was not dismissed because he wanted to investigate Burisma,” Kaleniuk said. “Quite the contrary. He was dismissed because of a lack of willingness to investigate this particular case as well as other important cases involving high-level associates of [ousted former President Viktor] Yanukovych.”

*European* and US officials pressed Ukraine to sack Viktor Shokin, the country’s former prosecutor-general, months before Joe Biden, the former US vice-president, personally intervened to force his removal, people involved in the talks said. Mr Biden did not act unilaterally nor did he instigate the push against Mr Shokin

It was not just Obama administration policy (not just “Biden policy”) to push for this Ukrainian general prosecutor to go, but a shared view in many capitals, multilateral lending institutions, and pro-democratic Ukrainian civil society.

Ichabod Crane Interesting Republicans would be hating all of this pushing for ALL of this if it was a Democratic President..

Hypocritical behavior on the worlds stage. They think we can’t see it, they will feel it when it’s time for their reelection.

I mean seriously. They are using the laws republicans voted in 2015 and whining about the democrats having the audacity to follow them.
