SCAM ⚠️ ALERT
T’would be neat to have a set of submersible ‘drone’ type craft with cameras, possibly tethered to a barge.
For a fee, folks shoreside or on the barge could pilot one of them and explore that fantastically preserved piece of maritime history.
Bringing the wreck to the surface would be neat too, but horrendously expensive to preserve it, put it in a building etc.
Seems to be doing just fine where it sits!
Rest in Peace Seamen. We found you. Let your souls rest at ease. Fantastic work by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the state of Michigan, and Ocean Exploration Trust, with years of research dedicated to finding the wreckage. Impressive and meticulous planning, along with steadfast commitment made it all possible. Again, rest in peace to Captain Peter Girard, and the other four seamen who perished along with him that fateful September night.
Did they find my luggage?
So what treasures have you found.
May the crew RIP 💐💐
