  1. The fact that a private contractor has this much influence is beyond imagination to any western Country…..

    1. When you and your side is losing, desperation calls for to you divert attention to petty things and magnify them into something grand.

    2. Well, the Russians aren’t really good at war, so they need like some ninja prisoners to help compensate the void on the battlefield.

    3. @Sabrina Nova Go tell Prigozhin he’s got nothing to worry about, and that Russia’s last, great military hope is just spouting hot air.

And don’t get too close to any open windows along the way.

  2. It’s quite simple. Shoigu has his Patriot PMC losing in Vulhedar with the regular russian forces and Prighozin is fight at Bakhmut with the his Wagner PMC alongside the russian regular forces and Shoigu runs the Russian defence ministry. This is power play for the future of the private Patriot PMC and Shoigu’s pocket.

    1. Or if the west insists for longer maybe the next president. I would not like the be in the Nato-Us skin then :).

  3. I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion. Putin hides in a bunker – Prigozhin visited the front. He is making a play at Putin

  5. There was an article in Czech news today, with a Czech volunteer, he is on rehabilitation now, has broken ribs, but survived thanks to a bulletproof vest, he said, the fight for Bakhmut is as brutal as it gets, Russians send waves after waves of convicts, they CANNOT retreat, it’s nothing like “tactical retreat” in Russian army, they either succeed, go through, we fight them with bayonets, spades, everything we have in hand to hand combat, he said……but when they get injured, they are practically dead…. When Ukrainian soldier gets injured, the priority is, he gets to near hospital as quickly as possible, if he dies, his body is collected for a funeral…. Russians do neither of this, injured are left on its own and nobody cares about dead Russian bodies…..

  6. We seem to be talking too much about the battlefields while forgetting about economic sanctions which if implemented could still end this war earlier than later.

  7. One is willing to ouch the button and the other doesn’t . We need to bring him over to our side

  8. The fact that they are infighting is a good thing

It weakens Russia’s military capabilities significantly

Not that it isn’t weak enough already

  9. Like in Soledar, russian mod trying to get credit in bakhmut late on, by using VDV on flanks after months of Wagner fighting on main front.Hopefully Ukr learnt from soledar and are ready to counter this with elite forces on flanks
Ironically the safest place for Prigozhin is Bhakmut!

    1. @Alien rob Being He is a real troll, yes.

I wonder why so many trolls have pseudo Dutch names these days.

  11. How it ends for Prigozhin? His vehicle mysteriously blows up with him in it. This is a man who sends human waves of recruits to their death against Ukrainian defenses in the name of his ambitions. We know his kind, the Russians know his kind very well.
