Valerie Galvan Yes indeed this is a no brainer. Florida, we have a very high tourist meca. Tourist from all over the country and in some cases all over the world enjoy FL. There was the thought early on that the summer heat and sun would have a disastrous effect on the virus and in most cases this is generally so. But as we learned in Singapore people go out and then they go back inside and live in air-conditioned climate controlled buildings. So, they are not spending a lot of time in the sun and the HVAC in the high-rise apartments, the offices and the tooourist hotels likely contribute to spreading the virus. It has nothing to do with politics.
Addressing Texas, and Arizona New Mexico and California, we see a huge spike in COVID-19 in Mexico. A few weeks ago the Mexican health minister was lamenting about the tremendous increase in the virus in Mexico. Most recently hospitals in Mexico are overwhelmed with Mexicans suffering from the virus. Now we have Mexican citizens coming into the United States to be treated in American hospitals along the border.
I commented because somebody was trying to make a political issue out of this virus. I mentioned some of our very progressive states that suffered catastrophic deaths very early on. I was trying to provide a perspective. This is a pandemic and it is despicable for somebody to try to tie politics into it.
