  1. I’ve been away from Jamaica for a while so idk what the pay is like but what do people want to be paid weekly is $J 25,000 enough ?

  2. Not just Hanover every rural Parish have this problem. Half a loaf is for one person. This is why I don’t like old people.

    1. Fi real they don’t even pay you on time, with all the millions they making, you have to hustle 😂🤣🤣

  3. It seems like parishes outside of Kingston, St. Andrew, St. Ann, Westmoreland, St. Catherine and St. James are all forgotten parishes. There is absolutely no socioeconomic development going on in St. Elizabeth. Black is like a town out of the seventeen century. Successive governments and the present Jamaican government dump on St. Elizabeth and Black River like gaulings. Jamaica, what a mess!

  4. Just like Rick’s cafe they make so much money in that place and they pay the workers nothing I think the government should look into that place 😊

  5. Half a loaf is good if u can afford it at the end of the week, I would want that gentleman to break down how are ppl to survive on $10k-$13k per wk .

  6. That is so true, going to work in the morning with no busfare and lunch money. Better wages 😛.

  7. The COVID pandemic has opened everyone’s eyes about job safety and security. Additionally, the salaries in the tourism sector are simply not worth the effort to many of the younger people who find themselves broke at the end of each week despite having a tourism job and despite living a very basic life.

  8. True education but what more education and no more Jobs these people want to become employers the education system was very rig up they just teacher how to be an employee and not an employer

  9. All am hearing is tourism tourism it seems like the Jamaican government has no idea how to create no other jobs are you kidding me,what about other industrial jobs.

  10. No young person should work for anyone in Jamaica for minimum wage. Secondly no one should accept or settle for” half a loaf”, Do your own business let the business owners employ their family members and pay them minimum wage

  11. yes education we cant send our kids to school how many generations, you would this with these jobs your better off. the price of food goes up daily, while our pay only gets increase every few decades
