@moya kiska You can’t compare wars like for like. This “what about ism” is detrimental to rational debate. The atrocities you broadly reference were also caused by some Iraqis and Afghans against their own people. However,it doesn’t suit the anti-west narrative to acknowledge that.

I still remember, when I was a kid, I read a newspaper article related to the invasion Russia/Soviet Union in Afghanistan. The article mentioned that the Soviet army dropped from their planes the mines in the form of children toys, which caused many casualties among Afghan children.
