@Jim Dort considering the firearms listed vary massively on Calibers it’s safe to assume the list was created by those unaware of firearms specifications or function as well as not having a PAL or RPAL. Shotguns are still legal for now and a shotgun at close range is far more devastating than a AR15 or variants of the sort. Grandfathering looks to be in the works now due to the massive kickback from this OIC law being put into place. I have hopes that the current leadership will realise that Canadian arent the bad guys and criminals will always do illegal activity. I have already called my MP and will be calling Liberal MPs also to politely show my no support for this OIC.
