SE Cupp offers a word of caution for Democrats 1

CNN's SE Cupp says assuming Sen. Bernie Sanders is not electable is the same mistake the GOP made with then-candidate Donald Trump in the 2016 election. #CNN #News

  1. Sanders is the front runner let him wim

    • Oh please do.

    • @Zeno of Citium I’m not advocating for anybody in particular apart from that guy who is running against McConnell. Now HIM I want to see win!! But I have been a socialist since adolescence and I am glad to see it finally coming to pass. If not now, then in 2024. But yes, Bernie’s policies would be quite similar to FDR’s and they would work.

@amity 150 there will be POOP on the sidewalks just like California and Portland illegals getting away with whatever i already live in that it’s going to be worse

    • Doomberg ftw!

    • @The Artist Shay artist Don’t be silly. Cleaning up poop is not the federal government’s job. Learn something about jurisdiction and how government works.

  2. Why do I feel like shes saying Bernie is DNC counterpart of Trump?

    • Because he is. Thump and Bernie are both ANTIESTABLISHMENT candidates working within their respective Parties.

      Thats exactly what she’s arguing

    • Bernie may be gaining momentum and he may even be the nominee, but outright socialism will never take root in these lands…

    • That’s one way of looking at it. And Bernie could take over the party using similar techniques to Trump. And that would not necessarily be a bad thing at all.

    • @Don Hardcastle Don, you are no doubt clueless af about socialism. People who oppose socialism can’t even give a decent definition of socialism, invariably. Go ahead, prove me wrong.

  3. So Axelrod comes on and says the exact thing she was just talking about. I’m not even a Bernie fan but the more I see of this the more I hope he wins.

    • Bloomberg will choose Hillary as running mate. If I’m wrong, everyone on this thread gets Youtube Red from me. Thanks.

    • Exactly. Tried to say Amy saved Bernie in NH, by her strong performance keeping Buttigieg down.
No, a lot of Biden and Warren’s second choice voters go for Bernie. The fact that they were still in, harmed Bernie more than Amy harmed Buttigieg. The pundits are trying to measure the support of moderate vs left by which candidates did well, but it doesn’t work that way. A lot of low information voters are going more on personality than substance (unfortunately), which is why you see second choice candidates being ideologically different. Like Biden and Bernie. Biden is as far from Bernie as it gets among the candidates, why would Biden’s first choice voters go for Bernie? Yet that’s what they say. Same with Liz’s.

    • @MilkCow What makes you think that? Why would Bloomberg choose a losing horse? Why would Hillary want to do it if he did?

I don’t care who is the front runner for the Democratic party, I would vote for a 3 legged dog with cataracts in both eyes or a moth before I help to reelect him and I am not even a Democrat. He is #KingofDivisiveness, #KingofHatred, #KingofLies. I don’t know what has happened to the Republican party and if Democrats don’t get themselves together, we are going to see another 4 years of this President. We need decorum, humility, humbleness, and etc., back in the White House. So, my thing is, with all of the negative remarks/comments about Bernie Sanders, do they think this President is the better choice?

    • @Bryanisahooper Boaaa Dems will fall in behind Sanders once they see he is the one who can turn out the vote and present an actual alternative to Trump, and for all the reasons you mention.

  4. When Iowa is all said and done…they are going to find out that Bernie did get screwed there.

  5. The corporate media is paid by the billionaires to smear Bernie. They’d rather have Trump win than let a man who fights for the people win.
Bernie is the only candidate Trump has openly said he’s afraid of.

  6. If they hadn’t betrayed Bernie and pushed Hillary forward, Trump would have never won.

  7. How embarrassing CNN backed Avenatti as their PosterBoy now hes going to prison!!!

Im glad I listened to this. I normally ignore SE and I should have ignored this one. Glad I listened, because next time I will confidently ignore her drivel.

    • Yeah, what a smear piece this was, trying to plant seeds of doubt in anyone considering voting for Sanders because the rich people don’t like him. Oh well, too bad so sad!

    • You’re both morons. She’s saying he’s being kept down & not taken seriously. She’s also mocking MSNBC for not supporting him and Trying to make him out to be a crazy choice. She even mocked HER OWN PAST VIEWS. The comparison to Trump’s campaign is on point, they are both Far from Center. Their ideas are both “radical” compared to Centrist. All you hear was “Bernie is like Trump” and you raged like snowflake trumptards.
EDIT” Your comprehension skills are sh*t OR more likely you just commented without listening. GG You dumbasses

    • cycleforwardtime No sh*t… me too, exactly.

Establishment Democrats have been maddening when it comes to Sanders. It killed them in 2016, and if they don’t get it together this year, Trump will win again. To be clear, in regards to electibility, a large chunk of Trump’s support is precisely because he’s anti establishment. Sanders is too. Suggesting they’d be more likely to turn around now and vote for everything they were voting against last time is ludicrous. Of course there are those who fear the “S” word as well, but they weren’t going to vote Democrat anyway. All in all, Sanders is as at least as electible as anyone else there, and more to the point, if they rig it against him again, that will hurt the party a lot more.

    Bernie PLUMMETS to first place!
    Buttigieg SOARS to third!

  14. *First they ignore you*
    *Then they laugh at you*
    *Then they fight you*
    *Then you win*

  15. I can’ t give this video a like or a dislike. The first part was mostly on point, but as soon as the idiot started talking at half way through, they lost the plot.
Amy saved Bernie? Most of Biden’s second choice voters and Warren’s would have gone to Bernie, if they weren’t in.
You carry on undermining Bernie, you POS, it will make his victory all the sweeter.

    • Thats the problem with CNN. The first part of their videos are usually good. As soon as you hear “And now we turn to X for their take” its all downhill from there

  16. CORPORATE DEMOCRATS lost remember time for some new faces .

  17. Bernie got my vote!!!!!!

  18. This “”””” and CNN helped the DNC steal Bernie’s nomination in 2016.

  19. This is how Bernie sanders gets his M4A done. We who voted him into office also vote out all the Establishment Democrats an replace them with as many Progressive Democrats as we can.

  20. Bernie 2020!
At $27 a shot, Ive got another $1500+ before I hit the limit…..then more volunteering…..and after 55 times round the Sun, Ive never felt more committed to making government work for the People …….not corporations!
