See Trump's Ego-Driven Virus Response Called Out On Live TV By Rapper Jeezy | MSNBC 1

As people adjust to life during the coronavirus pandemic, many artists are performing from home, speaking out and even releasing new work, as Grammy-nominated rapper Jeezy discusses in this new interview with MSNBC’s Ari Melber. Jeezy discusses how times of hardship and adversity have animated his music in the past, including some of his most well-known work on “The Recession” in 2008. To get through coronavirus, Jeezy encourages everyone to “spread the information” needed to take safety precautions so people can “survive this together.” He also discusses President Obama citing his music, and contrasts Obama’s leadership style with Pres. Trump leading with “his ego,” and trying to make the coronavirus briefings about himself. The new album is “Twenty/20 Pyrex Vision.”

  1. Right I was wearing a mask and gloves. I didn’t need some crazy news briefing. I took my cues from China 🤔

    • @Indigo Child Don’t EVER let what people say deter you from your conviction. I also got funny looks too but I didn’t care. I was just sorry for their ignorance while hoping for the best for them.

Once I learned it can be passed from person to person through droplets I put in orders for mask and have worn it everytime I went to the store.

    • @Phylum He’ll starve there because the stores wont let him in because he isn’t a Chinese native lol theyr’e being told by CCP government that foreigners are the ones who brought the virus to take over China.

    • Masks work better when other people wear them.

To protect yourself from others, you need a really good PPE one, like nurses should be wearing. To protect other people from your own germs, it’s much easier – just a piece of cloth tied across the face will make a big difference – it catches your coughs, most of the droplets that you exhale all the time.

If a few still get through, you’re still reducing the chances of someone catching it from you, and if they do, they’ll get a lighter “viral load” – a smaller dose, so it doesn’t hit them so fast – that really makes a difference.

I wear a mask to protect other people from an infection I might have, but don’t know about, yet. If other people wear one, that protects me from them.

In the Czech republic (used to be part of Czechoslovakia), they make their own, and people make more, to give to others. They’re probably the one country in Europe that has the virus under control.

    • My coworkers thought I was nuts, because a bought everyone on my crew/ jobsite N95 masks and gloves and told all of them to stay clean. Now that we are not working, they’re all calling and asking for masks and gloves. Now who is paranoid?

Never heard of his music but cool statements. Power ✊ Every life matters.

    • 1:04 – touching and pulling on his shorts near his crotch area. Then touching the food.

    • Jonathan Palacios if you love his message. Dont listen to his music, its the exact opposite

    • CJ Apao no political group made kkk. It was actually James R. Crowe, John C. Lester, J. Calvin Jones, Richard R. Reed, Frank O. McCord and John B. Kennedy. Every single one of them were conservative Republicans. I dont blame republicans for that, these were just individuals who happened to be republican

    • Jonathan Palacios you need to he’s one of the most Respectable rap artist I’ve never sold dope or nothing but he gave me a lot of game just for life in general and how to move as a man with respect, honesty, work ethic #LongLiveSno ⛄️

    • TC Talk it doesn’t matter what he’s rapping about, it that he not think of just himself but for many. Let’s not take away of his generosity.

    • You just got out of prison that’s right you never heard of him

    • He motivated some young black males to get murdered some years back when he had them go attempt to rob another rapper named Gucci…that’s motivation for you. Trap or die…that’s motivation for you

Why is the USA having such a big problem with the epidemic? Because he has to fight with two viruses, Covid19 and Trump20. And together they are deadly.

  10. I never tire of Ari’s fanboy smile when he has someone on he appreciates.

  11. 2:27 “When times get tough that’s when the leaders come out.” True that. Ceasar.

  12. “We’re going to make America greater than its ever been with or without him, we’re the people!”❤❤❤

Only problem is without him there is no America. Why on Earth would anyone want the govt in control of their lives. There will be no more “we the people” if the “people” give all their power to the govt.

    • @dominic liuzzo the government is made of the people. I can attest because I am your average Joe yet I’m also certified by the EPA. A government organization.

The problem is people confuse the government with whatever evil fairy tale has been floating around the internet about evil organizations that aren’t *us* If your air conditioning goes out you’re calling me, whose been trained by the government, to come fix it. This entire country works on teamwork.

The dollar itself is the government. Every dollar you spend you are putting the government in motion. That’s how you be in control. Study your constitutions.

There is an America without Trump and in my insights I think our next president will be even better. I personally miss the professionalism that Trump is simply not bringing.
