  1. I would rather go into policy negotiations asking for the whole loaf and receive half of it, than to ask for half the loaf and end up with bread crumbs.

    1. @Doug H are you just throwing things you don’t even understand?
      1) name 1 thing Trump has done to improve healthcare.
      2) we’re paying 2x more than any other major economy but we get less benefits (89 millions with junk insurance or no insurance at all)
      3) Healthcare will be paid as tax ==> No more (Premiums + copays + Deductibles) = Scam.
      4) eliminate private healthcare insurance companies. They are just useless middlemen.

    2. @Deborah Freedman Obama came to healthcare negotiations in 2009 with a modest bill, and he ended up passing a Republican healthcare plan when he had a supermajority.

    3. T Haze *Do you what to beat Trump, or not?* Bernie loses to Trump easily because he repels centrist Dems and Reps. But even if socialist Bernie managed a miracle and got elected in capitalist America, nothing he promises will happen. *Crazy Bernie’s fantasy dreams will **_never_** pass Congress.* They just won’t. Many Democrats won’t even support his fantasies, so how would you get congressional Republicans help to pass it hahahaha. Let’s land back on earth here! #RealityOverIdeology #ModerateBeatsTrump

    4. @Logic Police I can’t believe people are counting on a “do-nothing” Congress to stop Bernie. Just respond to this questions:
What did Donnie Boy do to improve healthcare in 3 years in office

    5. @Logic Police He doesn’t though.. lol. Bernie literally does the best with independent and typical non-voters. He literally has the most inclusive base of support out of everybody who is running. This isn’t my opinion, it’s a fact, even if you personally don’t feel it’s true.

If #ModerateBeatsTrump why isn’t Hillary president right now and why did 60 million people vote for Trump instead of her? Why did John Kerry lose an EASILY WINNABLE election to George Bush after Iraq? Al Gore got screwed by the Supreme Court, but he should have won that race easily as well. Obama won handily in 2008 because he campaigned on change and progress.

    1. Realism is a good thing. If you come at Congress with an impossible ask, it will be instantly voted down. If you bring a moderate bill, it can get through. Look at how many more bills she has gotten passed into law than Sanders, in less time, and you’ll see she is just better at working with Congress. That is a good thing for a president.

    2. The Abstract Bernie loses to Trump easily because he repels centrist Dems and Reps. 2. So Amy thinks that me being able to afford decent health care is a f****** pipe dream !?? What the hell is your campaign slogan ?… If at first you don’t succeed… Lower your standards !?…
Is she running for president to build us up… Or keep us down !? Bye Felicia….

    1. Kevin Mack *Do you what to beat Trump, or not?* Bernie loses to Trump easily because he repels centrist Dems and Reps.

    2. Kevin Mack – Exactly. It doesn’t have to be that way. Time to phase out their billion dollar profits. Give them time to down-size, but that system has got to go.

    3. Debating a Trump follower is like debating a Christian about evolution. They’re one way talkers. There’s no exchange of ideas. Christians always come back to “But Jesus said [insert scripture here]”. Trump followers always come back to [insert deep state conspiracy theory and/or regurgitated talking point here]”, and I wind up looking for new ways to describe what should be so obvious that it shouldn’t need articulation.

With Christians, I can just say, “You believe what you want, and so will I.” Then I thank God I live in a secular country. But with Trump cultists, I think, “Your blind faith is screwing up the country that’s just as much mine as yours.”

Ironic how a liberal like myself becomes conservative, and vice-versa. Trump is hastily trying to force change on all of us without a care about the concerns of over half the country. He wants to “tear down the administrative state” with no plan to improve it. If you doubt that, look at the health care plan, the “something wonderful”, with which he promised to replace the ACA after tearing it down. Liberals like myself want to refer back to the bedrock Constitution before recklessly destroying all of the norms and protocols.

That’s why I’m not a big Bernie fan. He wants a revolution, too. I doubt it, but his plans could fail miserably. At least he HAS a plan. He’s a lot more honest and experienced than Trump. But who knows? Maybe he’s also just an old narcissist who thinks he’s always right, and wants to prove it to the world before he’s forced into retirement.

What’s my point? I…forgot…(Damn, this is some good weed)…Oh yeah, we need a smart, middle-aged, middle American, experienced moderate in the White House to unite the country before Tump destroys it. That’s why I want Amy Klobuchar to be President. We don’t need another hero. America is too big for a revolution. This country just needs a good MANAGER. A uniter, not a divider. (If she promises to legalize weed by executive order like Bernie did, I bet she could beat the huge pants off of Donald “I don’t need drugs, I get high on power” Trump.

    4. Logic Police he’s just going to shift your corporate socialism over to the middle-class . What’s so wrong with that?

    1. @RC there’s nothing looney about wanting people to have free healthcare and for wanting to stimulate academic growth to increase a viable economy.

    2. She just moved into third place, and she has never lost a race. She is the most electable, and the most genuine candidate. Listen to her before you just count her out.

    3. If you really wanted a viable candidate, that could get the votes of independents, and disaffected Republicans, you would look at Klobuchar. She has the best policies, one that would help America.

  3. *I’m planning on Medicare for All, just like every other developed first world nation on the face of the Earth has…*

    1. @filonin2 _ I’m talking about researching the money. Tax money. Everyone’s taxes will almost double. Sales tax will go up. There will be added taxes to fuel and other things like property , cars and trucks. You didn’t do research that tell the whole story if you can sum it up in one sentence.
You can’t compare one country to another when talking about happiness of their people like it is as simple as that. There are a lot of different factors you have to look at when talking about someones happiness.

    2. @Brian Daniels Then you ignored the fact that the overall cost for these things and the quality of them are better in socialized countries. Americans pay more for worse healthcare with our system and would pay less for better with theirs which would make more people happy. How are you not getting this? Other countries have measurably better more cost effective systems that aren’t for profit and that is all there is to it.

    1. Jenny Cowgill – I was watching Family Feud the other day, and the question was, “If a man says he is this, he probably isn’t”. The top two answers were “Rich/successful and Smart”. I thought, “These are based on popular opinion, yet Donald Trump got elected president”. WTF?

    2. ScootMagoot46 – I’m sure she can win Minnesota. Better than Trump, who lost his home state. Just think, her theme song might be by the late, great Prince Rogers Nelson.

    1. @J Groovy . She’s not winning after attacking m4a. I don’t why they do it… And Bernie brought a 2008 turnout to NH. We’ll sweep with Bernie..

    1. Tom Krzysiak – she is indeed a marble mouth. Trump is doing great. We don’t need to go back to the deep state trying to run the planet.

  4. “let me be president so I can keep shuffling all the country’s wealth and resources to the 1% and tell you worker bees how there’s no funds for anything you need” – Amy Klobuchar #GTFOH

    1. @Deborah Freedman She literally running on let’s not do anything & since Reagan 70%-90% of the wealth has went to the top, that’s a fact.

I’m not afraid, I’m annoyed that people are swayed by someone protecting the status quo. She is going no where, trust.

    2. Rahk Numbas Bernie loses to Trump easily because he repels centrist Dems and Reps. But even if socialist Bernie managed a miracle and got elected in capitalist America, nothing he promises will happen. *Crazy Bernie’s fantasy dreams will **_never_** pass Congress.* They just won’t. Many Democrats think it’s too far, so how would you get congressional Republicans to pass it hahahaha. Let’s land back on earth here! #RealityOverIdeology #ModerateBeatsTrump

    3. @Logic Police You’re wrong & right. Every “safe, let’s not upset conservatives” Democrat has lost!! Kerry, Gore and HRC.

Yes, safe, status quo democrats want someone safe, but a large segment want progress. We want an end to Reaganomics. Since I’m on earth I can tell you centrist can’t win without us and vice versa.

All of your centrist candidates have no enthusiasm behind them except Pete and he’s underwater with black folk. Once they get finished reading his & Amy’s history of how they treat us, black folk, who already don’t like or know them are going to stay home.

So you’re wrong about that, but right about nothing getting done, but this is how our system works. It’s a process and fighting against the right, corporate interest, corporate Dems, etc will not be easy but you must start somewhere. If you allow it to continue we will be a two class system in a decade.

  5. Anyone know what her actual campaign motto is? I imagine it’s something like “we can’t do anything, unless I tell you”. #Bernie2020

    1. julius thompson *Crazy Bernie’s fantasy dreams will **_never_** pass the Congress.* They just won’t. Many Democrats think it’s too far, so how would you get congressional Republicans to pass it hahahaha. Let’s land back on earth here! #RealityOverIdeology #AmyKAllTheWay

    2. julius thompson – I think it’s something like, “You’re A okay with Amy K”. Cheesey as any political slogan, but she made it to the Senate without ever losing a race since running for high school student council. She didn’t go from zero government experience straight to the top spot like Trump.

  6. It’s easy to fulfill promises when you really offer nothing.

    Why is she running?

I feel like it’s strictly for power.

    1. Deborah Freedman wonder if throwing office supplies and emotionally berating her staff counts as getting it done? prosecuting a black man for a crime without the evidence to prove he committed it? must also be getting it done? #klobmentum

    2. J Groovy being a woman doesn’t preclude amy of criticism in her role in politics and her actions as a person. don’t reduce her shitty actions as simply “not being nice”.

    3. @Deborah Freedman . I trolled the idf channel and the israeli news… tell aipac to get out of my government and to stop interfering with our elections

  7. “I’m the only one………” “I’m the only one………” “I’m the only one………” “I’m the only one………” “I’m the only one………” “I’m the only one………”

    1. Amy is clearly trying hard to bring others down.
I think she puts herself in front too much.
Usually she grabs every oppertunity to bring others down.
For me she’s not very likable.

    2. @perl man He built a wall got Mexico to pay for it? That’s news. He tax the rich like he said? Again failure. Did he drain the swamp no he brought a bunch of CEO types with him. Said he wouldn’t bother social security now he made a mess he wants balance the budget out old people’s pockets and disabled. What exactly has he done? Btw he also is successful at failing every business and casinos on top of that. But he was successful at a fake university.. And he managed to rob a veterans charity lol. Fucking loser Donald. Or do nothing Donnie.

  8. Trump: “We will have the best healthcare in history and the prices will be so low. Very low, you won’t believe how low the cost for your healthcare will be!

Klobuchar: People want affordable healthcare, that’s understandable. We can achieve that but realistically what we can’t do is expect everyone to just be given healthcare without something or that as Trumps been stating that it’ll be cheaper than ever in the history of this country. The truth is there will be different plans under my administration and it’s up to the people to work out which plan best suits their own unique circumstances.

Sanders: Healthcare is a human right! You shouldn’t have to worry about going into bankruptcy anytime there is an emergency or you have to go to the doctor! It should be freely available to anyone no matter their economic circumstances. Your healthcare shouldn’t be tied to your employer. You should instead be able to work out better wages with your employer instead of better health insurance. Our administration, ‘with the help of you rising up and demanding change,’ will make sure once and for all that we pass Medicare For All and finally do what every other major country on the planet has already done in recognizing healthcare as a human right.

    1. @Deborah Freedman . Sanders policies are excellent. I’m not gonna attack Amy for some Prager viewer, in here trying to start fights. And palastine is a victim of the idf.

    2. @Nathan Seelig . Obama gave us romneycare. Everything he did is gone because he helped corporations instead of people..

    3. @Nathan Seelig This is true. Obama pretended to be a much more progressive candidate than he actually turned out to be. He won by running a progressive platform however, and that’s what matters. We know a progressive platform wins, and that’s what we need to run. Democrats lose when then pull this depressive no win campaign strategy of weary no hope.

  9. Barack Obama: Yes we can!

Amy Klobucher: No we can’t. Let’s be realistic and settle for less. Vote for me! Aren’t I very inspiring?!
