  1. This is just Republicans trying to steal the election because they know they will lose. Republican *always* cheat, and can never be trusted! The absolute corruption of Republicans is a disease on America worse than Covid.

  2. Mosquito In your ears | October 13, 2020 at 3:01 PM | Reply

You have super spreading Republicans rubbing there noses and refuse to wear a mask 😷 in this closed court room and you are doing nothing about. SEE YOU ON THE OTHERSIDE. WE ARE DONE!!

    • “see you on the other side.” Hamilton fan? I like it.

    • If it wasn’t for welfare supported folks Democrats could not get enough votes. Dems don’t stop! keep pumping more money into inner cities and double up those votes! Yeah! Give a wastrel handouts long enough and he will destroy you and himself, see Portland.

  3. NEVER NEVER EVER FORGET – The Trump Propaganda Playbook is all too simple – “Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth” – Joseph Goebbels

of course. Form the committee after Biden wins and Dems take the senate. I fully support that

  5. Just voted in Dallas county. I feel so good and proud. Hoping Texas make history this election. I’m wearing my sticker all day, my badge of honor. VOTE.

    • @MAE Gary My children and grandchildren are the reason I VOTE. They deserve better than constant chaos, hate, division and having to deal with a Pandemic. We all deserve better in a leader.

    • It’s no one’s business what her vote was. Thank you for voting! I felt relief after my vote was cast, too 😀

    • I feel your sense of pride and of goodness! I’m glad for you. My vote was approved by the election office last week. (Blue, right down the line!)
I’m glad you weren’t bothered by the one comment. I apologize for interfering unnecessarily, because that’s almost as bad as bullying (which may not have been happening in this case.)
Keep safe yourself, and keep feeling proud and good – you earned it! 😀

    • @Noma Thank you. I don’t accept negativity in my space. Just words floating in the air to me. Stay safe and strong.

    • @Shirley Allen 👍

When Dems take the Senate, they need to ram through all the legislation that they can for 2 years then put the filibuster back.

    • DynaCatlovesme | October 13, 2020 at 4:09 PM | Reply

How about they do a good job for the people and thereby keep the senate? Probably won’t occur to many of them.

    • Then the Republicans will just do the same thing when they get the Senate back. Why not actually give people something for their vote and give the 90 million people who don’t vote a real reason to?

  7. The judiciary will need to be reformed in 2021. That’s just the way it is. But right now the most important thing the people of America need to do is vote. And vote in numbers too big for the GOP to rig. Vote Trump Out.

    • jockadoobee, you are exactly right, and that can not stressed enough. People need to vote in such numbers that even the electoral college can not ignore the voice of the people.

    • If it wasn’t for welfare supported folks Democrats could not get enough votes. Dems don’t stop! keep pumping more money into inner cities and double up those votes! Yeah! Give a wastrel handouts long enough and he will destroy you and himself, see Portland.

    • @Clark Davis you don’t understand do you.

  8. How unelected people – SCOTUS – can overturn legislation that is supported by the majority of Americans, is unbelievable. If this is American democracy, it stinks!

    • They are elected….by the Senate, which is a highly unrepresentative institution, which ought to be abolished together with the Presidency.

    • We live in a Republic, not a democracy

    • Trump 2020👈🇺🇸💪

    • It is a supreme courts responsibility to interpret the law NOT create or overturn. If legislators want to prevent interpretation then the should be more specific in their creation of law.

The reason they don’t is because they are cowards and afraid they will be voted out on issues like abortion. So they push it off on the court and then criticize the outcome. It’s irresponsible and hypocritical because they knew what they were doing when the legislation was created.

  9. Amy “COVID” Barrett channeling Nazi Sgt. Schultz: “I know nothing…about systemic racism!”

    • Donald doesn’t know anything or anybody either. This must be the answer when you don’t want to answer.

    • @Janice Hotchkiss ~ Amy “COVID” Barrett: “Because I’ve enveloped myself and my adopted Black kids in a Reich-wing media bubble, while choosing to just look the other way in my legal profession, I know nothing about systemic racism in America! But we cried about George Floyd!”

    • Janice Hotchkiss | October 13, 2020 at 5:11 PM | Reply

@wily wascal I hope you didn’t misunderstand what my feeling was @ wily I was NOT agreeing with Amy !!!
NEVER / NOT AT ALL !!!
I was agreeing that she’s a Sgt. Schultz.
I was saying your comment was perfect.

    • @Janice Hotchkiss ~ No worries; we read you “perfectly.” The reply was our initial thought, which inspired the more succinct comment to which you had replied. Just thought you’d appreciate that, as well, since you liked the comment. You’re all good!

  10. *“The n-word is an egregious racial epithet,” Barrett wrote in Smith v. Illinois Department of Transportation. “That said, Smith can’t win simply by proving that the word was uttered. He must also demonstrate that Colbert’s use of this word altered the conditions of his employment and created a hostile or abusive working environment.”* source:AP
-Amy coney Barrett says it’s ok for your boss to drop the n-word 🕵️‍♂️ this is how the GOP wants our country to run.

    • Craig Crawford | October 13, 2020 at 10:05 PM | Reply

That’s not what the above quote says. If anything it says that Smith must prove that the utterance affected his life in a substantial way beyond a personal affront. If not, then there can be no damages awarded.
The utterance could of been said in jest, or sarcastically, or in a song he was singing. Where is the rest of the case that gives the context of how it all came about as required by law to prove such a case?

  11. REPUBLICANS DON’T CARE ABOUT AMERICAN CITIZENS!!!

  12. 400 bills on McConnell’s desk that he refuses to even have a look at. He’s a tyrant holding the American people hostage. He needs to be voted out and never allowed back in.

If she is unwilling recuse herself from any 2020 presidential election case she will appear to be a Trump stooge and the confidence in an already compromised judicial branch will erode.

That is Trump’s plan. It’s called poisoning the well. If she recuse herself Trump probably won’t want her, if she doesn’t prior to being appointed then it looks bad (and rightly so to a degree) which why they recuse themselves so as to not give “an appearance.” But nothing is stopping her once appointed though either. .

  14. Don’t fall for the republican rabbit holes… We are not looking at packing the courts that’s a republican tactic !

  15. Our SCOTUS has been corrupted by dark money and GOP packing. That is just the simple fact.

    • Billie Matteo, you’re spot on. Sen Sheldon Whitehouse just did a brilliant presentation on that very subject during the Barrett hearing, which is on YouTube, and Barrett looked very uncomfortable while he spoke, as well she should.

    • If it wasn’t for welfare supported folks Democrats could not get enough votes. Dems don’t stop! keep pumping more money into inner cities and double up those votes! Yeah! Give a wastrel handouts long enough and he will destroy you and himself, see Portland.

  16. She is wrong for our future ,judges should be totally impartial they r the overseeers of the law , n you should not be opinionated , r politicaly affiliated , only when you cast your personal vote ,

  17. “BOTTOM LINE SHES A TRUMPER” THAT’S WHAY TRUMP PICKED HER. ALL THOSE KIDS GREAT TAX DEDUCTIBLE…

  18. The McConnell era will go down as the most abusive and hate-filled time in our history thus far. McCarthy was ruthless but McConnell is truly evil and has ignored the will of the people. The Republican party has debased itself to match the low moral ineptitude of Trump.

  19. this huge elective wall is about to fall on the entire republican party, enough is enough…..

  20. It seems the Republican party is the enemy of the people.
Republicans do not want to govern American citizens, they want to rule over American citizens.

    • If it wasn’t for welfare supported folks Democrats could not get enough votes. Dems don’t stop! keep pumping more money into inner cities and double up those votes! Yeah! Give a wastrel handouts long enough and he will destroy you and himself, see Portland.
