Sen. Hickenlooper: ‘We Got To Rebuild It, But We Don’t Have 3 Generations To Do It’ | The Last Word

  1. It’s a critical long term project providing jobs for millions over the next 30 years rebuilding America that has been neglected & it’s about bloody time corporate America pays their fair share.

    1. @D Ross i was referring to stores and services that the average family needs… if you raise taxes on those businesses, we all will see higher prices for everything. you aint really sticking it to the man by raising taxes on businesses, you are sticking it to yourself

    2. I’m from Germany and I am upper middle class, I work as a computer scientist. I earn much less than 400K, neither dollar nor euro, and I pay something around 42% tax in total. Now you may think “poor guy is being ripped of by his government”. Guess what, as a german citizen I get A LOT in reward. There is a reason why there is no speed limit on german Autobahns, their surface is so smooth and seamless that it is safe do drive on it at 250 km/h. Also our bridges do not fall appart, there is money to refurbish them. We also have a very dense and safe public transport system which basically eliminates the need for cars in daily life even in smaller cities like the one I live in. There is money for highspeed rail which is a real alternative to flying. We have money for universal public healthcare. For me this is not a theoretical advantage, my mom got cancer 2 years ago and she got her surgery and follow up ion beam therapy immediatelly and the public health insurrence covered everything, it cost her less then 1000$. In America the cancer could have bankrupted her. This tax money is also used to finance free colleges and universities. I studied computer science at one of the best german universities and it cost me something around 250$ per semester, I could easily afford it and leave university without massive debt.

    3. @Paul Wilson You are talking about business at the end of the production line. Major corporations can stand the tax raise from the outset of producing the commodity. Transiting to electric cars will still need oil and coal but will reduce greenhouse effect, they can reinvest into green energy in preparation for the future.

    4. @Jim McLoughlin no i am not talking about end of production line businesses… if taxes are raised on businesses regardless if they can afford it, they will pass it on. Regardless if that is morally wrong does not mater, they have a right to do so and THEY WILL so raising taxes on business only hurts the little people.

    1. No he is up for it, and he did not golf ether while more Than 500.000 americans died from a virus who your former loserpresident told you was a hoax that will go away i april … last year 🤏🧠👈

    2. @Tommy r Westbrook : The human pretzels of idiocy must continue to twist the factual details into a justification of the indefensible.

  2. republicans like to talk about the old “give a man a fish, teach a man to fish” story. well, at some point, we need to build some fishing schools, and hire some fishing teachers!

  3. Republicans need to stop whining and start helping us move successfully into the future; a healthy future instead of their future of ruin.

  4. Why why why are we rebuilding roads of last century?! why are we encouraging car pollution of past century in this century? expand your mind
    light rail, yes,
    bridges that house people underneath
    walkable communities yes
no to plastic 99 cent stores from China of last century

  5. Jesus loves and cares about you so much so repent so that we all make it to heaven.

Like so more people can see this

  6. The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, and he was buried, and he rose again the third day, and he is offering everlasting life to all who will believe in him.

  7. LOL! The Biden administration isn’t about building, creating, repairing, or unity!! It’s all about destruction, division, chaos and discord! That is proven by his first 100 days in office! Are there really people who cannot see this?
