Sen. Murphy: What On Earth Could Russia Do To Us That Trump Would Take Seriously? | All In | MSNBC

  1. Here is a perfect example of what a pathological liar sounds like.

Trump’s 2015 interview with host Michael Savage, Trump was asked again point-blank whether he’d ever met Putin.
“Yes,” Trump said. “One time, yes. Long time ago.”
“Got along with him great, by the way,” Trump added, “I got to know so many of the Russian leaders, the top top people in Russia,” he said.

At a July, 2016 press conference during the general election campaign, Trump denied ever having met the Russian leader.
“I never met Putin, I don’t know who Putin is,” he told reporters in Florida. “He said one nice thing about me. He said I’m a genius. I said, ‘Thank you very much’ to the newspaper, and that was the end of it. I never met Putin. Never spoken to him. I don’t know anything about him other than he will respect me.”

David Letterman asked Trump in a 2013 interview if had ever met Putin.
Trump: “Well I’ve done a lot of business with the Russians, he’s a tough guy. I met him once,” said Trump.

Feb. 17, 2016: At a rally, Trump insists he has no relationship with Putin. “I have no relationship with him other than he called me a genius,” Trump says. “He said, ‘Donald Trump is a genius, and he is going to be the leader of the party, and he’s going to be the leader of the world or something.’”

Trump’s July 2016 interview with George  Stephanopoulos

STEPHANOPOULOS: “Yet you said for three years, ’13, ’14 and ’15, that you did have a relationship with Putin.”
TRUMP: “No, look, what — what do you call a relationship? I mean he treats me…”
    STEPHANOPOULOS: “I’m asking you.”
TRUMP: “with great respect. I have no relationship with Putin. I don’t think I’ve ever met him. I never met him. I don’t think I’ve ever met him.”
STEPHANOPOULOS: “You would know if you did.”
    TRUMP: “I think so.”
    STEPHANOPOULOS: “I mean if he…”
TRUMP: “Yes, I think so. So I’ve — I don’t think I’ve ever met him. I mean if he’s in the same room or something. But I don’t think so.”

If anyone still had any doubt as to whether or not you can be believe anything that Trump says, I hope this clears everything up.

  2. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Trump could start a nuclear war, and afterward his supporters could be dying of starvation and radiation sickness while saying, “I still got it better than I did with Obammie”.

    1. When it comes to Trump supporters I keep going back to the old adage: “It’s easier to con someone than convince them they’ve been conned.” It’s a tough pill of pride, frustration, shame, etc to swallow. But you do, you learn from your mistakes and, hopefully, you make more informed decisions in the future.

  3. They need to get whoever briefed trump on this matter under oath in front of congress immediately.

    1. M what good would it do? They won’t/can’t remove him. Our only option is to vote him out in NOV.

    1. @Richard Owens Just Trump? Well, with how Republicans are handling him, consider this…. The FBI confirmed that both the DNC and RNC servers were hacked but only the DNC servers info was released. RNC stuff stayed closed to public…. Ever wonder why Republicans are getting special brief with no Democrats? Or why no matter what evidence is brought before them most Republicans refuse to take action against Trump? What if that RNC info was even more juicy, and Russia knew they could hold it over the RNC with Trump in seat as a reminder? I am sure it would explain the inaction from Republicans over many matters. All just theory, but it does make you think, and would explain a lot. Maybe this Republican brief today was just a reminder from Trump to shut up and get in line? Let’s hope not.

    2. @Richard Owens No. Trump is much more valuable to Putin in Washington so, no, Putin would have no interest in Trump in Russia. But I like the idea of Trump being tried in a country with the death penalty.

    3. @15k DOW 2022 Insider? No. Listening to information and thinking about it? Sure. I mean, no one seems to consider about the RNC hack, just the DNC. Ever stop to think why not release it? It was either not apart of their agenda, or it lacked true substance. Each are equally likely.

  4. I’m assuming that’s a rhetorical question because the answer is nothing. His entire presidency was possible thanks to Russia. Putin own him and our puppet dictator doesn’t care as long as he keeps getting all the attention a narcissist needs.

  5. Have you heard that
    Trump’s new favorite side dish
    is Russian style hummus.
He heard it was made of chick pea.

  6. Putin has something he’s hanging over Trumps head,,,what it is we don’t know,,but he needs to be escorted out of the white house by heavily armed military soldiers

  7. If the story about the bounties is true I can’t see how any service member or veteran could still vote for Trump.

    1. You would think the adolescent disrespect of Mccain would have done that. But this aint your daddy’s Gop…

  8. Trump 🏌️🏌️🏌️🤔 Again using the “Oh, no one briefed me card!” 🤣😆😂 Trump needs Pictures to be engaged!

  9. Donald Trump is a Russian Trojan Horse – a clandestine weapon of mass destruction intended to do as much damage from the inside as possible. And, we’ve known this for almost four years, now. WTF are our other elected leaders going to do about it?

    1. Trump is the king of projection. When he accuses someone else of something, just apply it to him. It’s quite simple. He has a raging guilty complex, and it all comes out when you let him speak or tweet long enough.

    2. You… are… uninformed… morons… try… thinking… for… yourself. Did you folks miss the entire fake impeachment? Now you believe this pack of lies from MSM?
