At this point, if you still support drumpf and his “politics”, you deserve every terrible thing that is going to happen to you. You’re all out of excuses.

    • @Mark bodman That is where I got the data too. There are a lot of different graphs on that site. If you want to find one that spins data, it is pretty easy.

Like for example, expanding the rolling averages to 7 makes us look much better because our recent outbreak. Shorten it to 3 days and you see a significant difference that is a more accurate reflection to the current spike in cases.

However, we are doing worse than most countries and in particular, the country that had their first reported case on the same day. If we had responded like S Korea, our death toll would be around 1,700 total, not arround 130,000.

    • @Mark bodman go back to that link and click the data in the table. Go to the last column that says relative change. Sort by worst to best.

You will see the US at the very top and we are worse than the world average by nearly 10 times. No other country comes close.

yup. if they took a moment to compare how other presidents swiftly & maturely handled pandemics & how quickly they were put down-with no blaming others, & no bs of ‘it’s up to the states…’, but they don’t want to. one, they are lazy & ignorant, & 2, they don’t want to know the truth. & that is epitome of ignorance. shame on every one of them. they disgrace this nation.

    • GAY LIVES MATTER !!! | July 3, 2020 at 9:00 PM | Reply

@Mark bodman and don’t forget, if you stop testing then there won’t be any new cases!!
      LOL

Shift the blame on the states after the WH incited Gov to ” free” their states

  12. What part of “United” States does the White House cannot cannot comprehend. When it is a worldwide disease we should have a united front along with the states.

    • They are trying the Libertarianish “every man for himself” solution and it’s obviously a massive failure; we have a Federal CDC for reasons and this is one of the obvious ones.

    • Link to Worldwide statistical data on Covid 19. Can we do better yes, but many are doing far worse.
      https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/covid-daily-deaths-trajectory-per-million

    • @Mark bodman  @Mark bodman  we are bottom 8 in deaths per million in the world. Most are doing better than us and only 7 countries are worse.

We had the first reported case the same day as S Korea and if we responded the same way, we would have under 6 deaths per million like they do. Worldwide average is about 60 and we are about 389.

We are also experiencing an exponential increase in cases and hospitalizations while most countries are declining. It is getting worse fast.

    • but this is the land of the free and the brave, not even the government can tell US what to do and what not to do,,,

  13. Trump has surrounded himself with idiots and then they hold press conferences

@IHCTerra he doesn’t care. he’s a 3rd grade drop out. he doesn’t have the mental capacity to grasp the situation & the obstinate will to blame everyone else but his corrupt hero for it’s happening.

    • @Mark bodman 2020 seems a bit excessive. I doubt Trump gets more than 200 years in prison. But let’s be honest, he wouldnt last 5 years, he is in rough shape.

    • why? loser.

  18. Gross how this administration keeps stressing the role of individual states, as it’s a blatant attempt by Trump to avoid responsibility for his mishandling of this pandemic.

  19. How stupid does this incompetent administration think we are?? Sen Schumer is 100% correct!
