How about oversight on where the money went!!!??? You can bet allot went in pockets that shouldn’t have!!!

Kathleen Austin …Oversight? Accountability? ….that’s not going to happen with a Trump administration.

  2. WTF here in South Africa small business loans were one of the first items our government put in place, when we went into lockdown in March, together with unemployment claims.

Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell don’t care about the people, they only care about their bank account. Couple that with a crooked Attorney General and Department of the Treasury and you have the untenable position in which the United States of America finds itself right now. Simple, preventable, and tragic.

I will be so busy, I won’t have time to golf…..DJT

  4. Unemployed people need money to spend. Small businesses won’t survive without customers!

    • AnythingAuto | August 4, 2020 at 7:03 PM | Reply

I am starting to think this is not about survival and more about cash grabbing. Government can fund these companies through the roof, but with no customers, these same companies will just become long term welfare recipients.

And I aint talking about no $200 a month on a SNAP card!

We are talking Trillions of dollars in welfare payments to a small group “Business Owners”!

These politicians know this. They just want the mirage of better things to come, while lining the pockets of some small, medium, large business CEO’s pockets. And hiding under the facade that they are doing it to keep workers employed…………..LOL!!!!!

It’s funny how many senators dipped into these funds the first time! Tax money disappears into government officials pockets very fast every year!

    • Many dollars went to big business including Kushner’s and maybe Ivanka’s even though it was not needed. Only used to expand.

  7. And who will be oversight over this bill.

  8. I wonder how many companies owned by t’rump’s family and republican lawmakers got that bailout money? 🤔
Also, why haven’t they disclosed who got $500 billion in said bailout money?? 🤔🤔
Surely there’s not connection there. 🙄

You feed nutrients through the roots where they will be distributed throughout the plant.
Nature shows us the way and men persist on walking off the cliff.
Give the money to the poor and the middle classes and they will spend it readily ,
causing more commerce and more hiring to keep up with the new customers .
Like priming a pump , it will get everything humming .

THANK YOU! It would seem that elected officials would get it,,,,,,right? But they don’t or won’t.

  10. where is oversight for this bill??? wheres the money coming from?

  11. ALERT WE NEED A SOLUTION FOR THIS, PLEASE SPREAD THIS TO ALL – If you’re voting by mail, return the ballot as soon as possible. It’s easy. Do not wait until November. Let’s avoid a voter suppression scheme by Trump. Please share it with all… One more problem is that he can check your votes to see who you voted for before the election? Can he suppress those votes with his new general?

‘ Small Businesses ‘ my butt , most funds will end up in the very rich’s pocket again .
How many times are the American people going to fall for these shell game ??

Liberal in Oklahoma Exactly what I was thinking. Maybe they could start with the smallest first instead of starting with the biggest. Now wouldn’t that be a novel idea for a politician!

Ok,,,,,,one more very educated comment from you my friend, and I SWEAR I will demand we become pen pals. LOL

Captain Obvious is beating his head on a brick wall right about now. LOL!

  13. Losing all these small businesses makes corporate America bigger.

  14. I don’t trust any freaking Republican now or ever forward… I was an independent voter for 50 years… Not anymore…!

Young didn’t answer the first question she asked him. Steph, you should have pressed him on that.

  16. GOP in the Senate will not respond accordingly

  17. Lisa Woodhouse | August 4, 2020 at 3:42 PM | Reply

I think that the Republican on this video looks like he’s going to throw up or fall asleep? I don’t believe in sincerity from ANY of those puppets for the wealthy and stupid rebels without a clue. These complicit senators allowed our Lives and economy to crumble. Take all you can should be their mantra, meanwhile homes will foreclose and tenants face eviction. Evil wins it all as the richest profit off of American suffering.

Young hanging on the coat tails of a real politician, Michael Bennet.

Did Senator Todd Young vote to acquit Trump in the impeachment trial? Yep. Enough said.

  20. What is the point if customers can’t spend money in these small businesses.
