    1. You notice how some of these democrats are screaming bipartisan ship And basically all republicans, When they know “almost” 80% of voting Americans want to raise taxes on the wealthy.. These democrats are trying to get out of this mess 😬 with raising taxes On the wealthy, Defying what The majority of Americans want… The Wealthy have paid Millions and millions to republicans and democrat elections, and reelections generously, the Wealthy don’t want to hear no more about this raising taxes!@! That’s why both sides are screaming We need bipartisan ship Only on this issue… Any other issue and both sides are like GoFYSelf!!!

    2. @Pussboi Platoon Please tell me… what’s the cause and the effect? Can’t wait to hear..

  1. Again America and the American people dont get what they need , because of politicians, not because the American people dont want it.

    1. @Edwin Gutty is that why he received 70 million more votes than Trump? Seems to me THAT’S what the people want, and before you start in with the nonsense that the election was fraudulent, have your EVIDENCE ready!

    2. @pippinhill google is you friend. Biden won by 7 million only in the Popular vote pippi. Facts are important

    3. @Edwin Gutty man this whats wrong with this entire situation, people like you trying to make something be what it’s not. There was no wide spread voters fraud, no massive counts of dead people voting. In fact the few cases of such incidents reported has been GOP voters. Enough of that, sad man sad to see this bs going down. But i guess when racism and fear is embedded in peoples minds they react anyways they can, no matter if its a lie or the truth! Later

    4. @Lonnie Blackmon where was this momentum in 2016 when Democrats spent 3 years trying to find anything on Trump and nothing stuck. Whats the difference.

    5. @Edwin Gutty WRONG as usual. Carry on with your moronic conspiracy theories. There’s no talking to willful ignorance.

    1. @Rainbow Dragon sweetheart, our democracy was over a long time ago. We have had pre-approved wallstreet/banker cronies running our government for a long time now.

    2. @Jkrogs18 Except when you can call anything “socialist”, you ignore the actual definition and are more interested in suppressing the speech you disagree with than actually stopping socialism.

    3. @Jkrogs18 Yep. That’s why I disagree with them on the “culture wars” crap. They’re way too sensitive and need to tone it down and be more rational. All of the parties need to do that.

    1. Its money that has not been collected from us yet, once it passes then we will see tax and price hikes to pay for it.

    2. Of course they will, they stand to make a fortune for themselves and/or their special interest groups. The money the Bills allow for salaries and administration costs is absolutely obscene.

  2. Regardless of what they might tell you themselves, corporate career Congressmen ARE NOT infrastructure.

    1. Nor has anyone in Congress ever claimed to be infrastructure. Your comment is meaningless.

    2. @Deborah Freedman My comment is actually meaningful because these goldbricks attach to themselves a greater importance than infrastructure.

    3. Sounds like you’ve read the Bills and the provisions for salaries and administration costs – they’re obscene.

  3. Not one republican is going to vote for this. I’m not entirely sure why they bother negotiating.

    1. It’s a “we tried to do this to better the country, but the opposite side didn’t vote on it” voter ploy. Got to get them votes in 2022 and 2024.

    2. @TheU2001 MIA That’s the best Democrats can honestly do at the moment. The don’t have a large enough majority to push their objectives through. So the best they can do, is try to compromise with Republicans, and take the small victories they can get. For a small victory, is better than none.

    3. Well, I’m hoping what’s behind it is to be able to show, when we revise the filibuster rules, that we tried, we really tried, but couldn’t ever get even one stinking GOP vote in the Senate, not even to investigate the insurrection, not even when the policies they’re voting on are overwhelming popular even with GOP voters. So that when we finally do whatever is we’re going to do to get these things passed, they can’t squeal too loud. (Though of course they will.)

    4. @Xaviotes Harris “Well, I’m hoping what’s behind it is to be able to show, when we revise the filibuster rules”

There’s your first problem. You still believe that Democrats have the strength and willpower to do that. Unless you somehow get Manchin and Sinema on board, you should probably let that pipe dream go.

    1. Why does it have to all be traditional infrastructure? Is there some rule that we can’t do anything else?

    2. @Jock Young There’s no rule against it. However, trying to pass off something that is not infrastructure as infrastructure will (naturally) bring criticisms. And there is definitely no rule against that.

  4. BS – this happens ALL the time – Democrats work with Republicans on a compromise, and then Republicans MOVE the goal posts!
We had these BS games for 8 years with Obama!
    Have Democrats have learned NOTHING!?

    1. Both sides have to answer to their puppet masters, Campaign financing… No more talk of raising taxes…

  5. Pay livable wages of $25/Hour and up for all jobs so we can keep up with cost of living, or let the fascist businesses permanently shut down!

    1. These fascist businessmen are actually paying more money per hour now, I think they’re starting to understand without labor they don’t make any money? Time to unionize..

    1. Jonathan St Clair. It’s also funny when Liz went against Trump. The Democrats went into a frenzy. They were so happy. But when Manchin votes against them, for the good of our future. The hypocrites of the Democrat party go out of their minds. Too funny.

    2. I think they rather like to be screwed by Republicans, then they have an excuse to cry victim.😁

  6. That is pretty weak. ASCE says that 5.9 trillion over a decade is needed to bring US infrastructure up from the current grade of C -. This bill will be the usual giveaway to huge corporations.
    FDR 2.0 indeed..

    1. Yeah nothing’s been touched since FDR… Cut your hair hippie… Just kidding I got long hair too…

    2. You realize with that type of spending, inflation is going to be absolutely insane. With the spending that Biden‘s already introduced and proposed and already done we’ve already seen massive inflation since last year. His administration says it’s transitory but it’s not and we will see that it is here to stay. Joe Biden tricked his supporters in saying that he’s only going to raise the taxes on the rich. Little did his supporters know that with all the spending bills and everything that he’s done it’s gonna make inflation once again skyrocket which hurts the lowest income earners and people on fixed incomes like retirees. Their money just becomes more and more worthless as the printing machine keeps going.

    3. @Nick G That is not how inflation works. It is caused by demand outpacing supply. Any guess as to why inflation increase compared to last year? Anything special happening last year? Supply will catch up. Also, taxes reduce the money supply, i.e decreases demand, so that counters inflation. Furthermore, capital utilization in the US is like 75%, so supply can follow increased demand. But Biden’s policies are so weak they won’t increase demand that much. Too many people will continue to have too little purchasing power. Wages have been stagnant for 40 years. It’ll get worse, when young adults come into the economy loaded up with debts and carrying no assets.

  7. Dark money have manchin doing what he’s doing. His donors is no different than the hold trump have on his party.

    1. You do know Joe Biden broke the record for dark money right? $145 million 💸💲💰💶💵💷💴

  8. Why would they want to see the whole of the country get something out of this deal. We need better road internet daycare on top of many other thing that help this nation run. Cant have the next generation coming in not knowing how to work a computer but in some places they only see a computer in school and even then they maybe years old. New school books will help get kids out of poverty in turn will get more off state and federal help.
